CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original high polish blue finish with some light edge wear, a few scattered light handling marks, and a rotation line on the cylinder. 90% plus of the vibrant original case colors remain with the balance having faded to a smooth grey patina. The grips are also excellent with the left panel showing a mellow, aged chocolate brown tone, a few scattered light handling marks on both,
and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with the label on the lid showing extensive fading but visible imagery, some scattered minor staining, and some mild wear. This incredible revolver has been tucked away in the George S. Lewis Jr. Collection at least since the summer of ‘69 and is fresh to market.
