Excellent Documented 1919 Production Colt Government Model Semi- Automatic Pistol with Box and Factory Letter - Serial no. C116284, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. According to the included factory letter,
this pistol was one of ten shipped to Schoverling, Daly and Gales of New York City on October 20, 1919. Aside from
the traditional “Not Listed” grips, the letter verifies the key features. Blade front and flat top rear sights, with the two-
line two block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide divided by the Rampant Colt, “COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45” on the right, with the Government Model markings on the right side of the frame and “VP” and “5” on the trigger guard. Overall finish is blue, with a bright polished chamber, checkered grips and a correct two-tone unmarked magazine. Includes original Colt black box, the matching hand-marked serial number is faint on the bottom, a Colt Automatic Pistol .45 label on the end, a barrel brush, a wood cleaning rod and Colt Government model manual.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% plus bright original blue finish, showing, mild handling marks concentrated around the safety and slide catch, and some light cycling wear. The grips are also excellent. The box is good, with tearing on the edges, scuffs, and the lid label end detached but included. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent Pre-World War II Colt Ace Semi-Automatic Pistol with Original Box - Serial no. 9349, 22 LR cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1933, this is an
excellent example of a pre-World War II Colt Ace semi-automatic pistol. Blade front and adjustable notch rear sights, the two-line address and patent
dates on the left side of the slide followed by the Rampant Colt, and the Colt Ace logo and caliber markings on the right. The serial number is on the right side of the frame. The trigger guard is marked “87” on the
right and “T/VP” on the left. It is fitted with a short checkered trigger, wide checkered hammer, checkered arched mainspring housing, a set of fully
checkered grips, and a two-tone magazine with Colt Ace marked base. Includes the original Colt box.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% of the original high polish blue finish with some light holster type wear visible on the leading edges of the frame and slide with some scattered light handling marks on the balance. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent. The box is fair with tape repairs, tears, and absent pieces of the lid, but the label and serial number remain legible. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000
