Inland Arms 1919A4 Machine Gun with JLB Silencer, Class III/NFA -A) Inland Arms Company Model 1919A4 Browning Machine Gun, Class III/NFA Fully
Transferable Machine Gun, with Tripod and Accessories - Serial no. 784041, 30 Cal. , 24 inch round bbl., matte gray phosphate finish, plastic grips. Manufactured using a new-made right sideplate, this full function Browning 1919A4 machine gun was produced by Inland Arms of Austin Texas (not to be confused with the GM Inland Division or the Inland Arms currently located in Dayton, Ohio). Originally developed by John M. Browning, variants of the 1919 would be go-to weapons for decades with the United States armed forces,
being a signature weapon of both World Wars, Korea and Vietnam. Folding blade front and flip-up ladder rear sights, with military-style nomenclature on the right sideplate, ventilated barrel heat shield, and a set of smooth spade handle grips with a thumb trigger. In lieu of the standard endcap, the heat shield terminates in a double-sided threaded adapter for installing the J.C. Benjamin silencer (Item B). Included with the lot is an unmarked tripod, T&E mechanism, and a number of cloth ammo belts. CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% of the matte gray finish, showing some areas of brown patina, edge wear and handling marks. Mechanically very good. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
B) J.C. Benjamin Silencer, Class III/NFA Silencer -
Serial no. D8A, 61 Cal. , stainless steel finish. Constructed
from stainless steel, about 15 inches overall with a 4 inch
external diameter. The interior contains a large expansion
chamber, the back half open and the front half having a
ported baffle mounted around an unported tube.
CONDITION: Very good, with mild wear and handling
marks overall. NOTE: This Silencer is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479, National Firearms Act.
