Factory B. Consoli Signed Engraved Beretta S3 EL Sidelock Over/Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. 28985, 12 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Blued steel barrels with a single nickel bead sight on the matted vent
rib, 1963 dated Italian proofs, light engraving at the breech, chokes marked “**”/”*”
(modified/full), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished hand detachable sidelock action displays extensive beautifully cut broad floral scroll
engraving over a nicely matted background extending to the toplever, both tangs, and the triggerguard. The triggerplate is signed “B. CONSOLI” to the right of the trigger. The gun features gas checked firing pins, dual triggers, and a manual tang mounted safety switch. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with rear sling swivel and checkered bare butt. Includes a factory takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech measured .734/.729 inches; choke constriction .030/.041 inches; minimum wall thickness .026/.026 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 2 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, slight area of pitting at the left of the breech, and a tiny spot of oxidation on the rib. The wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches, minor chipping at the top tang, and overall crisp checkering. The case is very good with a non-functioning right latch. Mechanically excellent. Engraved and Gold Inlaid Krieghoff/Viktor Brandl Europa Model 62 Single Barrel Shotgun Two Barrel Set with Takedown Case - Serial no. 62051, 12 gauge, 32 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in the late 1960s by exclusive distribution through Munich retailer and gunmaker Viktor Brandl. Blued Bohler Laufstahl barrel with dual bead sights on the matted vent rib with 1967 dated German proofs, choke marked “F”, and 3
inch chamber. The blued action displays game scenes with ducks on the right and pheasants on the left as well as a lone grouse on the underside surrounded by broad acanthus scroll. Both the dogs and
birds are rendered in raised relief gold inlay with a gold inlaid border on the sides of the action, underside of the action, and triggerguard. Fitted with a single selective trigger and manual safety. Mounted
with a nicely figured walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock with White Line ventilated recoil pad. Includes a Naugahyde takedown case and extra matching number set of 30 inch barrels with 3 inch chambers, and chokes marked “IM/F”. Measurements for the additional barrel set (U/O): bore nine inches from the breech .737/.734 inches; choke constriction .024/.029 inches; minimum wall thickness .040/.040 inches. Barrel and stock measurements: bore nine inches from the breech .735 inches; choke constriction .034 inches; minimum wall thickness .038; 1 5/8 inch drop at the comb; 2 inch drop at the heel; 14 5/16 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with some handling marks on the action and forend shoe, plum hue on the triggerguard, and crisp engraving. Wood is also very fine with a few dings and scratches, some crazing in the finish on the forend, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine. Extra barrel set is excellent. Factory Game Scene Engraved and Gold Inlaid Beretta 20 Gauge 687 Silver Pigeon IV Over/Under Shotgun with Case - Serial no. U83147B, 20 gauge, 28 inch vent rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Blued Excelsior steel barrels with 3 inch chambers with ejectors, 2006 dated proofs, and choke tube system ( Briley Skeet chokes currently installed). Blued action with floral scroll engraved at
the front on either side with “BERETTA” at the top and a game scene of two quail on the left and grouse on the right with the birds inlaid in gold. The underside of the action displays floral scroll with “687 SILVER/
PIGEON IV” on a scroll above a gold inlaid Beretta Trident logo. Fitted with a gold washed trigger and selective tang mounted safety. Mounted with a nicely figured checkered walnut forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with blank silver initial escutcheon and Old English recoil pad. Includes a Beretta takedown case and four extra choke tubes (improved modified, improved cylinder, skeet, cylinder). Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at the comb; 2 inch drop at the heel; 13 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 1 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Wood is very fine with some scattered light dings and scratches and crisp checkering. LOT 1590 Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Beretta 687EL Over/Under Shotgun - Serial no. L41324B, 410 gauge, 26 3/8 inch vent rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. Single steel bead sight on the matted vent rib with 3 inch chambers with ejectors, 1993 dated Italian proofs, and interchangeable chokes (modified/ full installed). Sideplated action displays scroll engraving around a retriever chasing a mallard on left, pointer facing a quail on right, and pheasant on underside with the animals in gold. Single trigger with tang mounted automatic safety/selector. Lightly figured figured, nicely contrasted, multi-point checkered Schnabel forend and pistol grip stock with blank initial escutcheon and ribbed plastic buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 4 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus with limited handling marks, crisp engraving and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000
