Serial no. 29645, 28 gauge, 29 inch solid rib bbl., blue/coin finish, walnut stock. As described in “A” with the addition of a 28 inch .410 bore barrel set with a gold inlaid “2” at the base of the rib. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed at 14.0mm (.551 inches) and measured .551/.553 inches; choke constriction .025/.026 inches;
1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 16 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 6 lbs. 2 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence and only some slight discoloration on the coin finished action. The wood is also excellent with a few tiny scratches, a few small pressure marks at the comb, and sharp checkering. The extra barrel set is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
