Outstanding “Exhibition Grade” Factory Master Rocco Capece Game Scene Engraved and Extensively Gold Inlaid Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Co. Model 21 Double Rifle in .22 LR - Serial no. SWR38867, 22 LR cal., 22 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened/multi-colored gold finish, walnut stock. Built only on a special order basis, these tiny double rifles use a special frame even smaller than that of the already diminutive .410 bore Model 21 frames, making this an incredibly rare piece. This rifle is built with blued steel barrels featuring a ramped beaded blade front sight, dovetailed notch rear sight on the
rear quarter rib which is marked with the standard C.S.M.C. markings and the caliber “22LR”, gold bands and multi-color gold leaves at the breech, and chambers with automatic ejectors. The barrels are mounted to the diminutive casehardened action which displays an absolutely outstanding level of decoration consisting of intricate multi-colored gold scroll inlays covering nearly the entire surface and interspersed with a multitude of gorgeous gold inlaid figures.
