Stemple Reproduction Gatling Gun with Tripod - Serial no. 07081949, 45-70 Government , 25 1/4 inch part hexagon bbl., blue/bright finish. Consignor states this fully functional reproduction Gatling Gun was the last one assembled by Stemple. The construction of the main body is brass, with a Colt Gatling patent plate on top, an array of ten blued barrels with blued support arms, and a safety selector on bottom of the main body. The tripod is of steel and hardwood construction. Includes two modern green painted transport crates.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus original blue finish on the barrels with a few very small patches of light surface corrosion, and mostly bright surfaces on the brass. Tripod is very fine with some scratches and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 13,000 - 19,000
