LOT 612 Desirable Chinese Norinco NDM-86 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle in 7.62x51 NATO with Scope - Serial no. 102803, 7.62x51mm NATO (308) cal., 25 inch round bbl., black finish, laminate stock. A commercial version of the Chinese Type 79/85, an adaptation of the classic Russian SVD “Dragunov” semi-automatic sniper rifle, with this example being one of the less common 7.62x51 mm NATO chambered examples. Features hooded post front and range-adjustable tangent rear sights, flash hider, and bayonet lug, with “NORINCO/NDM 86 7.62X51mm/MDE IN CHINA” marked on the right side of the milled receiver and “BTC/SEL MONTE/CA” importer marking on the left. Matching “2803” partials on the bolt, bolt carrier, dust cover, safety lever, trigger housing, and clamp-on leatherette cheek rest, with the buttstock numbered “1200079.” Fitted with varnished smooth ventilated forearm and thumb-hole stock with Bakelite grip cap and flat steel buttplate. With web sling and PSO-1 style scope, numbered “1200079,” with sun shade, rubber eye piece, and integrated mount. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall, retaining 90% original black finish with scattered minor scrapes and handling marks. Scope is excellent with clear optics, electronically untested. LOT 613 Poly Technologies AK-47/S National Match Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. NM47-03037, 7.62x39 mm cal., 21 inch round bbl., blue finish, birch stock. Imported into the United States from China circa 1988- 1989. Features winged post front and tangent rear sights, an extended 20 1/2 inch barrel with conical flash hider threaded on, and a scope rail attachment block on the left side of the milled receiver. The left side of the receiver is marked with a “386” factory code, serial number, manufacturer address, importer address, model, and caliber designations, with “S/F” fire selector markings on the right. With matching “3037” partial serial numbers on the bolt, bolt carrier, and gas tube. Fitted with attractive plum varnished smooth birch handguard, checkered pistol grip, and smooth buttstock with metal buttplate. Magazine is absent. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original blue finish with scattered minor spotting and scratches. The birch furniture is very fine with a few dings and scattered scrapes in the varnish. MTK90019, 5.45x39 mm cal., 16 inch round bbl., gloss black/gold finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured by Legion Izhevsk, Russia, in 2009 as one of 100 Gold Edition MTK90 Saiga Jubilee Series rifles commemorating both the 90th birthday of the platform’s inventor Mikhail Kalashnikov and the 35th anniversary of the AK-74 entering service with the Russian military, and imported by Arsenal Inc. of Las Vegas, Nevada. 500 total Jubilee Series MTK90 rifles were produced, with the other 400 rifles consisting of the “Silver Edition.” The Legion Izhevsk Saiga rifles are semi-automatic commercial variants of the select-fire AK-74 service rifle. Features winged blade front and range adjustable tangent rear sights, AK-74 pattern muzzle brake, stamped receiver with riveted left side optic rail, and AK-74 pattern 90 degree gas block. The left side of the receiver is marked with the manufacturer, importer, model, and caliber designations, while the left side is marked with inlaid and gold outlined “AK-74/35 YEARS,”“MIKHAIL TIMOFEEVICH/KALASHNIKOV,”“90TH/ANNIVERSARY/NOV 10, 1919,” and Izhevsk “bell tower” logo with Kalashnikov’s signature. Most all components are coated with the glossy black baked-on outer finish, contrasted with gold plated bolt carrier, trigger, magazine release, and rear sight elevator.
