On behalf of the best team in the business, I am proud and excited to present our May Premier fine and historic firearms auction. This sale is in lockstep with our 2023 campaign, a virtual continuation in terms of quality, depth, rarity, and pedigree.
It is no secret that collectors are passionate. It’s also no secret that the entire RIAC team is passionate about what we do. We sell with passion. I believe it’s what separates us from every other competitor claiming to hold a “Premier” firearms auction.
We recognize that many of you do this as an investment or in tandem as a hobby, but collecting anything takes time, energy, patience,
and study. We saw this catalog as an opportunity to make studying beyond normal efforts worthwhile.
It’s our hope that the content of this catalog inspires and ignites some small element of the collector’s ambition for anyone turning its many pages. Because, ladies and gentlemen, the offering before you is awe-inspiring.
Before you study this catalog, we ask you to apply one basic philosophy:

As it says above our preview hall entrance, “History lives here." If you have not heard by now, this auction will be held in our brand new state-of-the-art auction facility in Bedford, Texas. We believe it to be the finest brick-and-mortar auction facility in the world, a true cathedral for fine and historic firearms. A Colosseum for collectors. A place where iconic pieces are sold and legendary collections of the future are built. Ladies and gentlemen, you must come see us in May!!
