Excellent Early Production Colt
Model 1902 Military Semi-Automatic Pistol with Factory Letter - Serial no. 14679, 38 ACP cal.,
6 inch round bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips. According to the included factory letter, which confirms its configuration, this pistol was a single gun shipment to Powell & Clement Company, Cincinnati, Ohio on March 9, 1903. Half-moon front and round-top notch sights, front checkering, the two-block address
and “”BROWNING’S PATENT”” patent dates on the left side ahead of the Rampant Colt, the caliber and model markings on the right and a matching number on the underside. Fitted with a casehardened
round hammer, niter blue trigger, royal blue slide stop, lanyard swivel, extended grip frame, checkered Rampant Colt grips and a full blue magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus bright original high polish blue finish, showing extremely minor bright wear on the front edge of slide, and some brown patina on the rear lower grip frame. 85% plus fine niter blue is present on the trigger, and the hammer retains 98% bright case colors on the sides. The grips
are also excellent. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 8,000 - 12,000

Exceptional 1919 Production Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. C115214, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1919. Blade front and flat top rear sights, with the two-line two block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide divided by the Rampant Colt, “COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45” on the right, with the Government Model markings
on the right side of the frame and “VP” and “4” on the trigger guard. Overall finish is blue, with a long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, flat mainspring housing, checkered grips, unmarked two-tone magazine, and a blued barrel with a polished chamber, “G” on the lug and “P” on the underside. CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing spots of gray patina on the front grip strap, bright edges, takedown lines and mild handling marks. The grips are fine, with a long dent visible on right panel. Mechanically excellent.
