Rare Early Production, 1924 Dated Star Model P Semi-Automatic Pistol in .45 ACP - Serial no. 224, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic
grips. Manufactured from 1923 to 1931, these
Model P pistols were based heavily on John Browning’s design for the Model 1911 pistol and were intended for use by the Spanish military. This is one of only approximately 11,168 Model P pistols manufactured. With many being exported to South America or seeing hard use during the Spanish Civil War, these pistols very rarely come up on the American collector’s market. This example
is marked with its “1924” manufacture date on the top rear of the slide. The left side of the slide is marked

World War II Canadian Inglis MK.
I* Hi-Power Semi-Automatic Pistol
with Box and Extra Magazine -
Serial no. 3T1423, 9 mm Luger cal.,
4 3/4 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips.
A late production wartime expedient example of the Inglis Hi-Power
pistol, lacking the tangent sight and without a slot for a shoulder stock.
Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, with the two line model
and address markings on the slide, matching serial numbers marked on the right of
the barrel, slide and frame as well as “crossed scepter” and “Canadian broad arrow” stamps on the frame. What appears to be a partially struck “PRINCETON NJ” importer’s mark is located on the left side of the frame ahead of the safety. Fitted with a magazine well safety and checkered black polymer grips. Includes original Navy Arms Company box, Navy Arms Hi-Power manual, and extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original parkerized finish with light handling marks and faint spotting. Box is fine. Mechanically excellent.

Finnish VKT L-35 Lahti Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 3366, 9 mm cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, synthetic grips. Developed in the late 20s and put into
production in 1935, the L-35 Lahti pistol was intended to be an entirely
domestic military firearm for Finland, replacing the Luger, the Ruby, and
leftover Russian/Soviet Nagants with a potent firearm capable of handling
extreme temperatures. Blade front and notch rear sights, with the raised
chamber indicator ahead of “VKT/L-35/SA” on top of the receiver, “SA” repeated on the left
side of the chamber, and matching numbers on the frame, receiver and bolt. Fitted with a pair of checkered grips with “VKT” logos and a “SA” marked magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing a plum tone on the receiver, areas of gray patina, bright edge wear, and minor spotting and handling marks
overall. The grips are also
excellent, with a
few light scuffs.
Mechanically
excellent.

Scarce French MAC Model 1950 Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. B2542, 9 mm
cal., 4 1/8 inch round bbl., matte gray phosphate finish,
Bakelite grips. Manufactured by M.A.C. (Chatellerault) from approximately
1953 to 1963 before production was shifted to M.A.S. (St. Etienne) to serve
as the standard service pistol of the French military, and is still listed in the
French inventory. The left side of the slide is marked “MAC” while the right is marked “MODELE 1950/CAL.9mm”, and the serial number is on the right side of the frame. It is fitted with blade and notch sights and a pair of serrated grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% of the original matte gray phosphate finish, showing bright wear on the high edges, minor spotting, and light handling marks overall. Grips are very good. Mechanically excellent.

45” with a Spanish rampant lion proof behind the serrations. The left of
the frame has “crown/shield”, rampant lion, and “PV” proofs. The early three-digit serial number is marked on the butt. It is fitted with blade and windage adjustable notch sights, long smooth trigger, serrated slide stop, Second Model pattern thumb safety, and hammer, First Model smooth flat back strap, a lanyard ring on the lower left, and checkered grips with the Star trademark.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 70% of the original high polish blue finish with the balance thinning to mostly a smooth grey patina, a brown patina on the grip straps and a few scattered patches of light surface pitting. The grips are good with a repaired crack in the right panel, a hairline crack at the top of the right panel, and some minor handling marks throughout, with well-defined checkering. Mechanically needs work. Writer cannot recall another example at our auction!

Semi-Automatic Pistol
- Serial no. 1613, 9 mm cal., 4 3/4 inch round
bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured prior to the outbreak of World War II, this is one of approximately 5,000 High Power pistols manufactured for a Lithuanian military contract. Blade front and tangent
rear sights, with the standard FN markings and proofs, matching numbers on the slide, frame and barrel, checkered grips, and a slotted backstrap. The distinctive “Columns of Gediminas” emblem is present on the top of the slide, left side of the barrel, and left side of the recoil spring guide.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 85% plus original
blue finish, showing bright edge wear,
scattered light scratches and spotting, and
minor handling marks. The grips are also very fine, with a few light dings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000
