Outstanding Rare Master Engraved and Gold Inlaid Winslow Arms Emperor Grade Bolt Action Rifle Featuring Nine Amazing Gold Inlaid Animals and Intricately Carved Stock Signed “N. HULTGREN” with Scope - Serial no. 19754, 7 mm Rem Magnum cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This is an example of the height of Winslow Arms craftsmanship, The Emperor Grade rifle, a truly fitting title. Built on a Mauser style action. The barrel is manufactured without sights with deeply relief engraved and gold inlaid wedges of oak leaves and acorns near the muzzle. Features a full 6 inch wedge of highly detailed high relief oak leaves in gold inlay with a lightly textured punch dot background terminating
at the receiver ring with a small gold inlaid buffalo. The receiver itself is stunningly engraved with high relief gold inlaid animals with a running elk on the right front, a big horn sheep on the left front and even a fox and duck at the right rear. This is all surrounded by intricate oak leaf and acorn scroll that has all been gold inlaid in a high relief. Mounted with scope bases and rings that have been engraved and inlaid to match with a prong horn on the front ring and a bobcat on the rear which hold a 3-9X Redfield scope. The bolt handle knob has an inlaid gold bears head and the trigger guard features an inlaid buck. The stock work is just as elaborate as the metal with deeply carved basket weave checkering and delicate “S” scrolls and detailed oak leaves and acorns. Features contrasting black and white inlay on the sides, the classic Winslow “knights head” logo and a beautifully detailed leaping tiger on the right side of the stock signed “N. HULTGREN” for Nils O. Hultgren, the renowned stock maker and wood carver. Even the receiver screws on the underside are engraved with gold inlay. The stock features the Winslow signature swept pistol grip and roll over cheek piece with sling swivel studs and a Winslow Arms vented recoil pad. Includes a copy of “The Ohio Collectors Association” featuring the rifle on the cover. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and limited handling marks. The stock is very fine with a few dings, some scattered crazing, and crisp carving. Mechanically excellent. Optics slightly hazy, reticle crisp. Estimate: 10,000 - 15,000

      LOT 1550 Weatherby Mark V Crown Grade Bolt Action Rifle in .460 Weatherby Magnum with Scope - Serial no. H135970, 460 WBY magnum cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The ported barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front and adjustable notch rear. The receiver is mounted with a Weatherby Premier 3-9X scope and has a unique set trigger (believed to be factory). The barrel, receiver, and scope mounts have been engraved with floral scroll on a stippled background. The floorplate is engraved to match with a gold overlaid elephant bust.
