LOT 1042 Winchester Model 90 Slide Action Gallery Rifle - Serial no. 724866, 22 RF Short cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue/nickel finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1928. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, sixth style barrel inscription, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, nickel plated receiver, trigger guard, and buttplate, Third Model receiver with exposed locking lugs, correct gallery style loading port, standard markings on the upper tang, and matching numbers on
the lower tang and receiver. 12 groove slide handle and plain walnut straight grip stock with crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Good. The barrel has 20% much faded original blue with light barrel proofs, brown patina, and mild edge wear on the balance. The receiver
has 80% original nickel finish with a mostly frosted appearance, scattered dark spotting, and visible edge wear. The refinished, reoiled wood is good with small dings and scratches, and some dark spotting and minor pitting on the buttplate. Estimate: 1,400 - 2,250

CONDITION: Very fine with 98% bright professionally restored blue finish, and

Fitted with a flat bottom grooved walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered plastic Winchester buttplate. Includes factory box with end label renumbered to match.
