Pre-World War II First Generation Colt Single Action
Army Revolver - Serial no. 355968, 45 Long Colt cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/ casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1937.
This is a representative example of the legendary Peacemaker
chambered in the iconic .45 LC
caliber. The SAA is one of the most iconic firearms of
the American west, and it, alongside the Winchester Model 1873, are often cited as the “guns that
won the west”. The barrel is marked “COLT

Documented Colt First
Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial no. 240658, 45 Long Colt cal.,
7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1903. Blade front and notch rear sights, with the one-line Hartford address and “45 COLT.” on the barrel, two-line, three-date patent markings on the left side of the frame next to the circled Rampant Colt, and matching numbers on the frame, gripstraps and the interior of both grip panels. The frame is casehardened, with blued components, niter blue pins and screws, and a pair of brown hard rubber checkered grips with raised Rampant Colt imprints. The accompanying factory letter states the revolver was shipped to M. Hartley & Co. of New York City on March 24, 1903 with a 7 12 inch barrel, in .45 caliber, blue finish, and type of stocks not listed. This
  was a three gun shipment.
CONDITION: Fine, with 60% plus original blue finish,
with areas of brown and gray patina, bright edge
wear, and scattered light scratches and dings. The
cylinder shows a deep but straight drag line. 50% of
the original bright case colors are visible on the frame,
the remainder having gently silvered out with minor
spotting. The oversized replacement grips are very
good, with some flattening of the checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500
SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45” on the left side and has the one-line Hartford address on top. The left side of the frame has the two-line patent dates marking followed by a Rampant Colt. The left side of the trigger guard
is stamped with the number “4” above the Colt verified factory proof. Matching serial numbers appear on the frame, right side of the front
strap and back strap, and back of both grip panels. The rear face of the replacement cylinder carries the partial serial number “98”, likely a
restorers error as the correct number should be “68”. The matching assembly number on the loading gate and rear of frame. Colt commercial blue finish with casehardened frame and polished hammer sides. The revolver wears a set of renumbered, replacement checkered hard rubber grips featuring a Rampant Colt inside an oval at the top. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% partially restored blue (gripstraps and cylinder) with 95% original casehardened finishes with limited handling marks and slight faint traces of a cylinder drag line. The replacement grips are fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. An example of a the iconic pre-World War II Colt Single Action Army revolver.

Fine Colt Bisley Model Single Action
Army Revolver - Serial no. 322075, 32 WCF cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. The Colt Bisley model
was only manufactured in 1894-1912. For many, the Bisley feels better in the hand and cocks and fires
easier thanks to its lower and wider hammer and the wider trigger making them excellent
sidearms for serious marksmen. This example was manufactured in 1912. The barrel is marked “32 WCF” on
the left side and has the one-line Hartford address on top. The receiver has the two-line address marking followed by an encircled Rampant Colt. Matching
serial numbers appear on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap. CONDITION: Fine. The barrel and ejector rod housing retain 75% bright
original high polish blue finish with holster type wear. The cylinder retains 50% original blue finish. 40% original blue finish remains on the
grip straps with a smooth brown-gray patina on the balance. The frame retains 60% original case colors. The replacement grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver - Serial
no. 251337, 32 WCF cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened
finish, hard rubber grips. The Colt Bisley model was only manufactured
in 1894-1912. For many, the Bisley feels better in the hand and cocks and
fires easier thanks to its lower and wider hammer and the wider trigger
making them excellent sidearms for serious marksmen. This example was
manufactured in 1904 and has standard Colt markings, replaced grips, and
matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 30% original blue finish and 20% faded original case colors with a smooth brown-gray patina on the balance and some very scattered pitting mostly on the cylinder. The worn replacement grips are good. Mechanically excellent.
