TRW M79 “Blooper” Shoulder Fired Grenade Launcher, Class III/ NFA Destructive Device - Serial no. 84515, 40 mm cal., 14 inch round bbl., matte black finish, synthetic stock. Manufactured by TRW, the M79 “blooper” infantry grenade launcher of Vietnam War fame was designed to fill the gap between hand-thrown grenades and a crew-served mortar, maintaining a balance between the agility of the former and the striking power of the latter that was extremely useful
in the sort of extremely fluid, high-speed clashes that could happen in the field. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights with fixed “battle notch” mounted to the barrel, automatic tang safety, swiveling winter triggerguard, and a solid recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent, with 98% of the original matte black finish, showing mild wear and handling marks. The furniture
is in equal condition, with the recoil pad
slightly oversized. Mechanically excellent.

Dillon Precision/Standard Products M1 Carbine Converted to M2 Configuration, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 2231137, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Originally manufactured by Standard Products as an M1 semi- automatic carbine, this item has been upgraded by Dillon Precision Products with a full set of M2 conversion components, turning it into a selective fire carbine. Introduced late in World War II, and later a signature weapon of the Korean War, the M2 achieved near maximum level parts commonality with the M1, allowing conversions at the field armorer level to meet unit needs and manufacturers to wait extremely late in the production process to decide if an arm would leave the plant as a M1 or an M2. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, an unmarked clamp-on muzzle brake on the “3-44” dated Underwood barrel, Type 3 bayonet lug, 4-rivet handguard, and an unmarked low wood “pot belly” M2 stock. The receiver is marked “20” and “Dillon Prec./Scottsdale, Az.” on the left side under the stock, with a “SA” and “MA220” marked operating rod, “A” selector switch, unmarked transfer bar, round “A.I” bolt, milled Inland trigger housing, “M” marked M2 magazine catch, “SS” flip safety, “8” sear trip, “I-I” hammer, and an unmarked sear. Magazine absent. CONDITION: Fine as upgraded to full automatic, with 75% of the arsenal- quality parkerized finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, scattered spotting, and mild handling marks. Glue is visible on and around the rear sight dovetail slot, with similar residue around the gas piston housing, and heavier spotting/pitting around the piston and the interior of the operating rod. The stock is very good as sanded and cleaned, with mild dents, scuffs, and stains. Mechanically fine.
