CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% of the
original blue finish overall with some minor edge and high
spot wear, and areas turned to a smooth brown. The walnut
stock is also excellent, with some minor handling marks on the sides.
The ultra rare sheet metal scope mount is also excellent and retains 95%
of its original blue finish with a clear sharp proof mark on the left side of the
mount. The scope is also excellent with 97% of its original blue finish, with clear sharp markings and clear optics. Mechanically excellent. This extremely rare MKb 42 machine carbine would be the centerpiece in any advanced World War II German firearms collection. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
