Pistol with Box and Factory Letter - Serial
no. 35000G70, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round
bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The included
factory letter lists this pistol in .45 caliber
with a 5 inch barrel, blue finish, class “B”
standard level scroll engraving, furnished with
a gold washed serial number when shipped to Valley Gun Distributors in Northridge, California on November 21, 1978 on order 632. Also included is a Colt “woodgrain” box with correct matching
end label.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99%
plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is good with storage and handling marks and a split end. Provenance: The Dr. Robert Azar Collection; Property of a Gentleman.

and 3 1/2 lbs. trigger
pull when shipped to
Cherokee Publications in
Kansas City, Missouri on
March 16, 2004. The engraving is signed on the right side of the grip safety spur. Includes original box with end label hand marked “”B EXPERT engraving”, and a glass top Colt display case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as Denise Thirion factory engraved, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with minimal handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Box and case are both very fine.
