      CONDITION: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original nickel finish and 75% original niter blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grip is also fine showing a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. A high conditioned Tranter revolver linked to the son of the founder of America’s most famous detective agency, Pinkerton National Detective Agency, that would be a welcome addition to any early cartridge revolver collection or early American law
enforcement collection.
