Stock is excellent with attractive original raised grain and rich oil finish, a few light dings and handling marks, and distinct edges overall. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet and scabbard are both very fine. This exceptional Pattern 1853 Enfield rifle-musket would be difficult to improve upon and is a must have for any Civil War collection!
