Excellent Pre-World War I U.S. Springfield Model 1903 Bolt Action N.R.A. Sales Rifle - Serial no. 563110, 30-06 cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1914, one
of a limited number of 1903 rifles released for sale to civilians prior to America’s entry into World War I. Hooded blade front and folding ladder rear sights, “SA/10-13” barrel, and milled triggerguard assembly bearing the “(flaming bomb)/N.R.A.” marking to distinguish i
from items still in government inventory. Oil quenched casehardened receiver, safety and magazine cut-off, and all blued milled components that include barrel bands, bolt, trigger guard, and floorplate. “S” style stock with single reinforcing bolt, high hump handguard with proper rear sight clearance cut, and sharply checkered steel buttplate with compartment. Serrated trigger, dished
windage and elevation knob, and rear sight leaf with the 2,850 yard notch. “H” marked on the bayonet lug, “F 1” marked on the rear bolt lug, the left stock wrist is stamped with the Ordnance final inspection initials “J.F.C.” in a rectangle, and a small “15” above a circled script “P” firing proof stamped behind the trigger guard. CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing mild handling marks and edge wear overall. The receiver retains 98% strong original dark case color, with brighter colors on the cut-off and bolt components. The stock is also excellent, with mild dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. World War II U.S. Remington Model 11 Semi- Automatic Riot Shotgun - Serial no. 497670, 12 gauge, 20 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1943, this Remington Model 11 Riot Shotgun features a single bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chamber, cylinder choke, and “U.S.” ahead of flaming bomb proofs on the barrel and receiver, and the receiver is also correctly marked “MILITARY FINISH” on the left side with all other markings being standard. Matching serial number marked on the barrel beneath the forend. Fitted with a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with crossed cannons cartouche and “FJA” (Frank J. Atwood) inspection stamp on the left of the buttstock, and Remington Bakelite serrated buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95% plus original blue finish with some scratches and light freckling. Wood is also very fine as
light sanded and re-oiled, with a reattached repaired section visible on the right of the wrist, a few light nicks and scratches, defined edges and visible stampings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,500 - 4,000

Excellent and Scarce U.S. Springfield Armory M2 Bolt Action Training Rifle - Serial no. 19911, 22 LR cal., 24 1/2 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in mid-1942, one of 3,386 M2 rifles completed by the U.S. Springfield Armory before production ceased in July of that year as found on page 300 of “The 1903 Springfield Rifles” by L. Col. (Ret.) William S. Brophy, with pages 295 to 303 further detailing the model. Features fixed blade front and adjustable Lyman 48C target peep rear sight, a “SA/5-42” marked barrel with “LONG RIFLE/CART’GE ONLY” on the left, “M2” marked polished third type bolt with adjustable head-space and matching
“19911” serial electro-penciled into the underside, standard receiver roll marks, and speed locking striker assembly. Fitted with a smooth NRA sales pattern walnut stock with grasping grooves, open
box “S.A.” cartouche, “circle P” firing proof on the pistol grip, and heavy checkered steel buttplate without trap door. Includes an unmarked M1907 pattern leather sling. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% plus original dark armory parkerized finish with edge wear from a front sight cover at the muzzle, minor spotting, dried grease, and minor handling evidence. Stock is also excellent with original oil finish, minor scuffs, and crisp grasping grooves and markings. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000

Excellent U.S. Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle with CMP “Correct Grade” Certificate - Serial no. 5613213, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Receiver from 1955 production. Features a winged blade front and T105 rear sight assembly, wide base gas cylinder with “high hump” gas cylinder lock and “HRA” marked cross slot lock screw, “6535382 HRA” marked operating rod, and “6528287-SA/A14” marked bolt. Barrel marked “LMR” and dated “2 55” under the operating rod with bright chamber. The trigger housing is marked “6528290-HRA N,” with a “HRA 5546008” hammer, unmarked safety, and unmarked stamped guard. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock bearing a boxed “DoD eagle” inspection cartouche left of the wrist, with a circled serif “P” proof on the underside of the grip. Includes a matching Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) letter of authenticity listing the rifle as “M1 Garand Correct Grd”, dated October 14, 2009.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original parkerized finish with minor edge wear on the butt, limited spotting, minor handling marks, and dried Cosmoline inside and out. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

World War II U.S. Winchester M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine with G.I. Stock Carving - Serial no. 1079243, 30 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured circa early to mid-1943 after the month of February, when Winchester stopped adding date stamps to barrels. Features winged blade front and “S” marked two position flip-up rear sights, undated Winchester “W” marked barrel with “ordnance bomb” on the gas cylinder, Type I detachable action spring tube, Type I barrel band, “W” marked milled trigger housing, checkered push button safety, “W” marked Type II magazine catch, unmarked Type I slotted hammer, “W” Type I slide, and “W” blued flat top bolt. Fitted an oiled walnut high-wood stock with “W.R.A./G.H.D”“crossed cannons” cartouches along with “WALTER” carved into the left with “J.W.” and “GF.P.” on the right, topped off with an “IO” marked four rivet replacement handguard. While not authorized by the U.S. military, it wasn’t uncommon for servicemen to carve symbols, messages, or names and initials (as in this case) into the stocks of their issued carbines. CONDITION: Very good, retaining 30% faded thin original parkerized finish on the balance with extensive scattered light freckling/spotting, minor pitting, edge wear, brown patina, and
general handling wear expected from wartime use exposed to the elements. The stock is good with small cracks and the rear trigger guard tang and high cut slide section, scattered minor handling marks, crisp cartouches, and well defined period carvings. Mechanically excellent. A fine historic representation of a World War II veteran M1 Carbine with personalized character added by the men who where there. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
