SWD/Poly Tech AKS Automatic Rifle, Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun with Bayonet - Serial no. PF85-000723, 7.62x39 mm cal., 16 inch round bbl., blue finish, metal stock. Originally manufactured in China by Poly Tech and imported by Keng’s Firearm Specialty of Atlanta, Georgia, as a semi-automatic rifle, this AKS was upgraded by SWD of Atlanta to a 7.62x39mm select fire assault rifle. Hooded post and tangent rear sights, with a threaded muzzle and a hinged spike bayonet attached to the front sight base. The original model and caliber markings on the receiver have been adjusted, with the trunnion bearing the “Factory 416” triangle logo on the left side, the KFS address on the underside ahead of the magazine well, and the SWD address alongside the trigger. The block post on the right side of the receiver has been altered and a new safety lever position cut, restoring the traditional AK “safe/ full/semi” functionality to the selector. Fitted with a smooth forearm, pistol grip, and buttstock with steel buttplate.
