Factory Engraved Colt New Frontier Single Action Army Revolver
with Case - Serial no. 04582NF, 45 LC cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., blue/
casehardened finish, carved grips. Manufactured in 1979. The revolver
displays factory executed Class “C” coverage floral scroll engraving. The
left side of the trigger guard under the grip is double stamped “COLT
ENG”. Fitted with ramped blade front and fully adjustable rear sight,
and Colt eagle pattern grips. Includes a Colt Custom Shop display
case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish
and case colors with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and grip carving. Mechanically excellent.
Case is very good.

with Factory Letter and Case -
Serial no. SA94848, 9 mm Luger cal.,
4 3/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish,
smooth grips. The included factory
letter lists this revolver as chambered
in 9 mm with a 4 3/4 inch barrel,
nickel finish, smooth rosewood with
nickel Colt medallion grips, Class “A”
custom engraving, and the engraver’s
name not listed when shipped to
Aaserud Import in Drammen, Norway
on December 18, 1991. The letter
further remarks that the revolver
was later returned to the factory and sold as a used firearm to Kiesler
Police Supply in Jeffersonville, Indiana on December 12, 1998. Includes a fitted Colt
hardwood display case with a lid escutcheon reading “COLT/Single Action Army/9mm
Parabellum/1991 (Rampant Colt) SA94848”.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish, a couple light handling
marks, and a faint cylinder drag line. The replacement grips are excellent with minimal
handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with scattered dings and
scratches.

CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus
original blue finish and case colors with a
miniscule patch of light oxidation at the edge
of the recoil shield, and crisp grip checkering.
Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.

2012, this very
interesting target
revolver was special
ordered through
the Colt Custom
Shop. The revolver
has been built in a fully blued flat top target configuration with bright polished hammer sides and nitre blue
front sight blade, rear sight, cylinder pin and latch, and screws, as well as being fitted with a nicely figured
walnut one-piece grip. Includes original shipping sleeve, a Colt blue box, and original test target identifying
the model as “P10770FT” which signifies the flat top frame and signed by Colt employee Rich Stoddard who
once owned the gun.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with some light handling marks, a faint
cylinder drag line, and fiery nitre blue on the small parts. Mechanically excellent. Box is excellent. A stunning
one-of-a-kind Colt Single Action Army Flat Top Target revolver.
