Outstanding World War II German Berlin-Lubecker “duv 43” Code G41 Semi-Automatic
Rifle - Serial no. 9532C, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. This excellent World
War II German military Berlin-Lubecker G41 semi-automatic rifle was manufactured in 1943, prior to the introduction of
the G43 rifle. The G41 was one of the only production model semi-automatic rifles to use the “gas trap” system, as opposed to the gas
port used on the G43, which has become the de-facto standard for gas-operated weaponry from World War II up through the modern day. The
barrel has the standard blade front and tangent rear sights, the model “G.41” and “duv 43” Berlin-Lubecker manufacturer code markings on
the left side of the finely machined receiver, machined metal dust cover, machined bolt carrier with a solid cocking knob, a left side mounted
bolt catch, and “eagle/214” Waffenamts on various components. Fitted with a smooth laminated pistol grip stock with “eagle/WaA214” and
“eagle/214” proof stamps on the right side and the matching serial number stamped on bottom of the buttstock, a resin handguard, cupped
stamped steel buttplate, and a period brown leather sling. All matching visible serial numbers on the components.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, as issued, retains 98% plus original blue finish with a few scratches
concentrated mostly on the magazine housing, and otherwise minimal signs of use. The stock and
handguard are also excellent plus with distinct edges, a few light handling marks, and crisp stamps.
Mechanically excellent. This World War II Berlin-Lubecker G41 rifle is one of the finest we have ever
offered and would be nearly impossible to improve upon!
Estimate: 9,500 - 16,000

Excellent Waffenwerke Brunn/BRNO “swp45” Code
“Kriegsmodell” 98k Last Ditch Bolt Action Rifle with Rare Sheet Metal Rear Sight
- Serial no. 67554a, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. Manufactured
relatively late in the war, the “kriegsmodell” 98 could be seen as a predecessor of the “volkswaffen/volksgewehr”
last ditch weapons, attempts to streamline the manufacturing process, reducing the amount of detail work required to
put out a working weapon. In addition to eliminating the bayonet lug, this example also has the rear sight replaced with a
simplified sheet metal leaf with a fixed battle range notch sight. Fitted with a hooded blade front
sight, with the barrel marked “dot/13” in a shield, “Mod.98/swp45” on the receiver ring, matching
numbered bolt, and “qnw” and “byf” on the stamped triggerguard and floorplate, respectively.
The barrel bands are stamped sheet metal secured with screws, with a brown leather sling and a
cupped steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent metal, with 95% of the original blue and phosphate finishes, showing some
minor spotting on the barrel and sight hood, a plum patina on the bolt catch spring, and mild
handling marks overall. The phosphate components show some areas of brown patina. The stock is
very fine, with mild scuffing and dings, and a pair of filled holes on the underside suggesting that
a set of sporting style sling studs had been installed and later removed. Mechanically excellent.
Estimate: 6,500 - 9,500
