Swiss Army SIG P210 Semi-Automatic Pistol
with Holster - Serial no. A122026, 9 mm cal., 4
3/4 inch round bbl., blue/phosphate finish, plastic
grips. Introduced in 1949 and adopted by the Swiss
Army, the P210 has commanded a long lasting
reputation as a reliable and accurate sidearm,
remaining active as a military service
weapon and being sought out by civilian
shooters up to the modern day. Stacked
matching serial numbers on the left side of the slide
and frame, matching number on the barrel, “Swiss Cross
in Shield” ahead of the rear sight, “SIG” maker’s mark and
conjoined “BP” proof on the slide and “P” (privat) on the
left side of the trigger guard. An importer mark has been
added to either side of the magazine well opening. Fitted
with a manual safety, magazine well safety, checkered
slide catch, heel-mounted magazine catch and checkered grips.
With a brown leather holster marked “+/M” and “E.TINGUELY/56/
ALTERSWIL” with a brown leather shoulder strap “Fw. Buchwalder” hand-signed inside the flap, and a commercial
ProMag-brand extra magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original combination blue finish, showing some minor edge wear and handling
marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with some light wear on the screw escutcheons. Mechanically excellent.
The holster is very good, with scuffs and stains appropriate to field wear, supple leather and solid stitching.

as noted on page 115 of “Die SIG Pistolen” by H. P. Doebeli. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights,
checkered slide catch, “SIG” logo on the left of the slide, “9 mm P m/49” and “crown/FKF” marked on the left
of the frame, along with color coded “S/F” fire controls. Matching serial numbers on the right side of the slide,
barrel, frame, and on the back of the lock housing. Fitted with a pair of smooth walnut grips numbered “74”
on the interiors in pencil. Includes a matching numbered “SIG P210-DK M/49” blue box.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining 97% plus parkerized finish with some limited
minor spotting/rust on the right of the slide and some slight freckling on the chamber, but otherwise limited
handling marks. The grips are also exceptionally fine. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with
absent foam interior.

Excellent and Scarce SIG German Border
Police Issue P210-4 Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. D4651, 9 mm cal., 4 5/8 inch round bbl., blue finish,
plastic grips. This was a special model produced for the West German
Border Police (Bundesgrenzscutz, Federal Border Guard) in the early 1950s
with about 5,000 produced, featuring German proofs, a two-tone blue finish (polished
slide, sandblasted frame), and checkered black plastic grips. Established in 1951, the
BGS was a paramilitary organization responsible for border security and patrol, and
would serve as both a major source of men for the Bundeswehr and the predecessor of
the modern Bundespoliezi. Blade front and fixed notch rear sights, with a loaded chamber
indicator and “SIG” marking on the slide, “eagle/BMDJ1” proofs on the frame and barrel, and
matching serial numbers on the slide, frame, barrel and hammer housing. A laser engraved
importer mark has been applied to the frame around the magazine well, with an unmarked blued magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, with mild spotting concentrated on the hammer
and slide catch and minor handling marks overall. The grips are excellent, with a few light dings

frame, some thinning on the dust cover, and minor handling marks. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine with absent foam.

Pistol - Serial no. A105702, 9 mm cal., 4 3/4 inch
round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips. Fixed sights with Swiss “cross in
shield” stamp on the rear sight base. Matching serial numbers on the frame,
slide, and barrel. Swiss military proof on the left side of the frame, and “P”
stamped on the trigger guard. Import marked at the bottom of the magazine well. Fitted with
a pair of ribbed hardwood grips and an unmarked full blue magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, a few hints
of a plum patina, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are very fine, with minor dings and
varnish loss. Mechanically excellent.

Automatic Pistol - Serial no. A177813, 9
mm cal., 4 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Features fixed
blade front and notch rear sights with the Swiss “cross in shield” crest on
the rear sight base, “SIG” marked on the slide with “Bernerprobe” proof,
and “P” (indicating release for private ownership) marked on front of the trigger guard.
With matching serial numbers on the left side of the frame and slide, right side of the
barrel, and the rear of the hammer housing. Fitted with a manual safety, magazine well
safety, ribbed slide catch, heel-mounted magazine catch, and checkered grips.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing bright wear along the
high edges, a small amount of spotting concentrated on the frontstrap, and minor handling
marks. The grips are excellent, with some light scratches. Mechanically excellent.
