Vero Beach Production Knight’s Manufacturing Co. SR-25 “Lightweight Match” Semi-Automatic Rifle
with Scope and Extra Matching Numbered “Match Rifle” Upper - Serial no. 20108, 7.62x51mm NATO (308)
cal., 20 inch round bbl., blue/black finish, synthetic stock. The Knight’s Armament Company SR-25 rifle was
created as a collaboration between C. Reed Knight, Jr. and Eugene Stoner, the inventor of the AR-10 and AR-15,
during the 1990s. This is an early Knight’s Manufacturing Company of Vero Beach,
Florida production example that was manufactured on
January 5, 1993 and sold on May 10, 1993. Advertised
and sold by Knight’s as the “Lightweight Match” variant, this example features a
medium contour 20 inch barrel without threads at the muzzle, Picatinny gas block and a
free-floating carbon fiber tube forend, and is also accompanied with an extra original matching numbered upper assembly in the “Match
Rifle” configuration with 24 inch target contour barrel, Picatinny gas block and free-floating carbon fiber tube forend. Standard markings and
features, with matching serial numbers on the upper and lower receivers, chrome bolt and bolt carrier, A2 type pistol grip and fixed stock with
extended buttpad, and one correct unmarked AR-10 type “waffle” magazine. Includes a Leupold VARI-X III 6.5x20-50mm scope with lens caps,
the noted extra upper assembly, and a commercial hard case as used by Knight’s to ship these rifles. According to the consignor, the rifle was
built by Reed Knight for Tommy Campbell of Safariland Holster who was a personal friend.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 99% original black and blue
finishes with some light handling marks on the metal
and furniture. Mechanically excellent. Extra upper
assembly and scope are also excellent, with clear optics.

Inc. 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Model 700 M24
SWS Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Scope, Deployment Kit,
and Accessories - Serial no. G7145486, 7.62 mm Nato (308) cal., 24 inch
heavy round bbl., black Cerakote/camouflage paint finish, synthetic stock.
Built on a commercial receiver and components from Remington’s M24
Sniper Weapon System (SWS), adopted by the U.S. Army in 1988. Remington
Defense was allowed to purchase back components stripped from issued
M24 rifles undergoing upgrades to the XM2010 package, with the removed
and surplussed components then used by the firm to create these limited
edition M24 SWS packages, of which less than 2,000 were offered for the
25th anniversary of the platform (1987-2012). Features mounts near the
muzzle and on the receiver for globe front and micrometer rear sights (not
included), adjustable trigger, “7.62 NATO” marked on the left of the barrel,
circled “M” on the right of the barrel and bolt handle, along with the “G” prefix serial number and “MODEL 700 M24” designation on the left of the receiver. Matching partial
“5486” serial number marked on the underside of the bolt handle. Fitted with a HS composite stock with adjustable buttplate with rubber recoil pad, along with a Harris
SL bipod. Topped off with a L&S Inc. Ultra M3A 10x scope (serial number “89 0994” ). Includes a Hardigg Industries green deployment kit hard case fitted to the rifle, which
contains a M1907 pattern leather sling, M24 SWS manual, a black hard case fitted for the scope, and a Pelican 1120 hard case containing a spare striker assembly, spare
magazine follower and spring, scope sun shade, scope lens covers, scope mounting tools, green nylon cheek rest cleaning tools, and parts of an Otis cleaning kit.
CONDITION: Very fine as built up by Remington Defense with surplussed M24 SWS components, retaining 98% back Cerakote finish on the barreled action and 75% plus
of the added camouflage paint scheme on the scope, stock, and bipod, with scattered scrapes and dings revealing original black finish underneath, creating an attractive
appearance, with the buttstock showing both matte black and an older desert camouflage patterning. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics. The
deployment kit case is fine with painted inventory numbers along with wear and tear on the case exterior appropriate to a well-traveled unit. The accessories are very fine.
