Excellent World War II U.S.
Ithaca Model 1911A1 Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
909376, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round
bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1943, during
the height of World War II. The left side of the slide has the standard
two-line Ithaca address and there is a “P” proof on top. The left of
the frame has the “FJA” inspection mark and “P” proof. The right side of
the frame has the standard U.S. property, model, army, and serial number markings.
The initials “CAP” are lightly scratched on the left side of the frame. The blued barrel is
marked “P” on the left of the lug and “COLT 45 AUTO” on the lower left. It is fitted with
blade and notch sights, serrated slide stop and thumb safety, short stamped trigger,
checkered narrow hammer, arched serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop, a pair
of checkered Keyes Fiber grips, and a full blue “R” marked magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% of the original parkerized finish with some scattered
nicks/scratches, very light edge
wear, and a few scattered light
handling marks. The grips are
also excellent with only the
slightest handling marks and crisp
checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
2386211, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch
round bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips.
Manufactured in 1945. Fixed sights, with “REMINGTON RAND INC./
SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A.” and “P” on the slide, Atwood-inspected
frame with “NO” style serial number marking, stamped trigger, thin
hammer, serrated slide catch, checkered thumb safety, serrated arched
mainspring housing, Keyes Fiber grips, and a High Standard barrel.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus of the original finish, showing some mild edge
wear and handling marks overall. A few small rough patches are visible on the left
side of the frame around the trigger
guard, possibly a factory error.
Grips are also excellent, with some
light pressure dents on the sharp
checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent U.S. Guide Lamp FP-45 Liberator Single
Shot Clandestine Pistol - NSN, 45 ACP cal., 4 inch
round bbl., phosphate finish, steel grips. Developed
in 1942 under the fictional nomenclature “Flare
Pistol, 45 Caliber”, the Liberator was intended to be air
dropped over occupied territory. Built from machine
stampings welded around a smoothbore 45 ACP barrel,
the single shot pistol was to be used by angry civilians to
lash out at their oppressors and more coordinated partisans
to kill occupiers and steal their (much more expensive) weapons.
Fitted with a zinc cocking piece, hollow grip, and sliding grip trap cover.
CONDITION: Excellent with 98% plus of the original phosphate finish.
Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1917 and
included in a shipment of
600 pistols (serial numbers
188,001 to 188,600) sent to
the U.S. Springfield Armory in
Massachusetts on October 25,
1917, as listed on page 519 of
“U.S. Military Automatic Pistols
1894-1920” by Meadows. Features
fixed oval blade front and notch
rear sights, blued barrel with
“P” and “H” marked on top, checkered slide stop,
thumb safety, magazine release, and wide spur
hammer, short grip safety, smooth long trigger,
and straight mainspring housing with a lanyard
loop on the base. The slide bears the two-line,
two-block patent date and manufacturer address
on the left with Rampant Colt behind the slide
serrations, along with model and U.S. Army nomenclature on the right side and “H” marked at the top of the
hammer recess. The left side of the frame bear the U.S. property marking and circled “GHS” (Lt. Col. Gilbert H.
Stewart) monogram inspection mark, with serial number on the right side. Fitted with a pair of diamond pattern
checkered walnut grips and “R” marked two-tone magazine. Includes a “U.S.” embossed brown leather M1916
flap holster marked “PERKINS/CAMBELL/1917/R.J.M.” on the rear, with leather lanyard.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish with some minor edge wear, minor cycling wear,
some thinning on the grip straps and top of the slide revealing some brown and grey patina, minor spotting/
freckling, some mild handling marks, and clear markings. The grips are fine with some compression wear in the
otherwise defined checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very fine with supple leather.

round bbl., parkerized finish,
plastic grips. Manufactured in 1942. Features fixed blade front
and notch rear sights, blued barrel marked “G” and “COLT 45
AUTO” with “P” on the recoil lug, the standard two-line, two-block
manufacturer address and patent date roll-marks with Rampant Colt
in the center on the left of the slide with “P” on top and matching “846/124” serial
number under the firing pin stop, along with checkered thumb safety, slide stop,
wide spur hammer, short milled trigger, and arched mainspring housing with lanyard
loop. The left of the frame bears a boxed “W.B.” inspector mark with “P”, along with “M”
and “triangle/VP” on the trigger guard. The right side of the frame bears an “ordnance
wheel” proof, the U.S. property marking, serial number, and model designation, along
with “69” on the trigger guard. Fitted with a pair of brown checkered plastic “Coltwood”
grips numbered “7” under the right and “6” under the left panel, along with a “R” marked
full-blue magazine.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 85% plus original parkerized finish with minor edge wear,
light cycling wear, some spotting/freckling mostly
on the feed ramp, near the chamber opening of
the slide, and on the slide stop, along with light
handling marks. The grips are exceptionally fine
with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
