U.S. Winchester “WIN-13” Late War M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle
- Serial no. 1629855, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured by Winchester as part of the late war “WIN-13” run of M1 Garand rifles, circa June
of 1945. Blade front and peep rear sights, the latter fitted with a set of “open arrow” flat adjustment
knobs with a “BATTLE RANGE” marked elevation knob and locking bar. The barrel is “WP” and “2” marked on the
chamber. Components include a “D28287-1 W.R.A.” bolt, “C46025W.R.A.” machined trigger guard, “D28290-W.R.A.”
trigger housing, “C46008-1 W.R.A.” hammer, and “D35382 W.R.A.” uncut operating rod. The right receiver leg is
stamped “D28291WIN-13”. The smooth pistol grip stock bears “circled P”, restamped “WRA/GHD” and crossed
cannon stamps, with a green canvas sling and a checkered steel buttplate.
CONDITION: Fine, with 80% of the arsenal parkerized finish, showing bright wear on the high edges and bearing
surfaces, contrasting color on the gas hardware, and mild handling marks. The stock is very good as lightly sanded,
with some dings and dents scattered about. Restamped cartouches on left side of stock. Mechanically excellent.

Action Sniper Rifle
with M84 Scope - Serial no.
3420108, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish,
walnut stock. These were the standard sniper rifles during World War II, into
Korea and even the early days of Vietnam. The iron sights are properly absent as standard on these
sniper variants, with a Remington “12-42” dated barrel, “R” marked bolt with correct turned and contoured handle, and the proper
offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. Smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered blue steel buttplate. The M84 scope is serial numbered “27700”
on the data plate and mounted on a parkerized Redfield scope base.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95% arsenal refurbished parkerized finish with a mottled appearance on the trigger housing, a few patches of light pitting visible underneath the finish on the barrel
bands, and 85% blue finish on the bolt with some light cycling wear. The arsenal refinished stock is fine with some light handling marks and defined edges. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very fine,
retains 95% original blue finish on the tube, with crisp clear optics.

World War II U.S. Springfield M1C Garand Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with Lyman Alaskan Scope - Serial no.
3309917, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. The first semi-automatic sniper rifle adopted by the
U.S. military, the M1C sniper rifle was developed in 1944 and was the standard issue sniper rifle during late World War II, Korea and saw use into Vietnam. It is estimated that approximately 4,000
were produced during World War II with hundreds provided to various NATO allies in the late 1950s/early 1960s and hundreds destroyed by the U.S. Government in the 1980/90s. The receiver of this rifle was
manufactured in December of 1944, “S-A-2-51” barrel, “-19SA” bolt, “-12-SA” trigger housing, “-1-SA” milled trigger guard, “W.R.A.” hammer, and relief cut “SA” operating rod. The scope rail/bracket is secured to the
side with three screws and two pins, numbered “3637988” on the underside, with an unmarked modern reproduction ring assembly. The Lyman Alaskan 2.5x scope is blue finished, with serial number on the tube (half concealed by
the rear scope ring), rubber eyepiece and a post-and-crosshair reticle. The left of the stock wrist is stamped with a faintly legible boxed “S.A./N.F.R.” inspection cartouche and crossed cannons cartouche, “7988” stamped on the right
of the buttstock, and “P” proof stamped on the front of the grip.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine overall as arsenal upgraded to M1C configuration, retains 98% parkerized and blue finishes. The arsenal refurbished stock is very fine with some scattered dents and scratches and defined edges.
Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent, retains 85% original blue finish on the tube with edge wear and some light surface freckling and crisp clear optics.

Very Scarce U.S. Union Switch & Signal/Quality
Hardware “Un-Quality” M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine - Serial no. 4441340, 30 M1
Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. Manufactured around October 1943 - March
1944, the receiver for this carbine was manufactured by Union Switch & Signal and sent to Quality Hardware to be assembled and
finished. Blade front sight marked “POQ” and two-leaf rear sight marked “S” and “GE-O”, “EM-O” round bolt, unmarked pushbutton
safety, “LT-Q” marked magazine catch, “Q-TX” stamped trigger housing, “Q.U.” hammer, “GE-Q” sear, and “UN” slide. High wood stock
with a “Q-RMC” two-rivet handguard, “QU” marked Type I barrel band and an oval sling cut, marked with a faint cartouche and “crossed cannons” on the right and “Q-RMC” in
the sling cut. This is the missing manufacturer in most M1 Carbine collections.
CONDITION: Fine as arsenal refurbished and subsequently restored to World War II configuration, with 85% of the matte gray parkerized finish, with wear concentrated on the high edges, mild handling marks and a small
amount of spotting. The stock is good as reoiled/sanded, with minor scuffs and chips concentrated around the recoil plate and wrist. Mechanically excellent.

accepted by the Army to fulfill the contract.
