Parker Brothers 16 Gauge
GHE Grade Double Barrel
Shotgun - Serial no. 211776, 16 gauge, 28 inch
solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1925 as one of only 353 built in this configuration
per page 279 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote.
Built with dual white bead sights on the matted solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL”, and chambers
measured 2 1/2 inch with automatic ejectors. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened action which features GH pattern engraving
consisting of oval game bird scenes on the left, right, and underside surrounded by light scrollwork and line borders. The gun features
double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with an attractively figured and multi-point checkered forend with
engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with Parker grip cap, silver inscription shield marked “R.H.T./1927”, and a Pachmayr Whiteline recoil
pad. The above gauge, barrel length, barrel steel, and ejectors are confirmed on page 525 of “Parker Gun Identification & Serialization” by Price and
Fjestad. Includes a leather mutton leg takedown case with plaque inscribed “R.H. Tenney/Lexington/Mass.” and a three-piece cleaning rod. Barrel and
stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .667/.665 inches; choke constriction .025/.028 inches; minimum wall thickness
.027/.028 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 11/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 1 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with much of the loss on the lower tang and triggerguard, 70% original case colors with
some grey and brown patina, light handling evidence, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Case is good with wear and loose stitching.

Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 233266, 12 gauge, 30 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured in 1929 as one of 1,088 made in this configuration according to
page 279 of “The Parker Story” by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote with only some 67% having ejectors
like this example. Built with blued steel barrels featuring dual white bead sights on the matted concave solid rib
marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL”, standard markings on the flats including the “P.S.” for Parker
Special Steel, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The barrels are fitted to the casehardened action which features standard GH engraving
of oval game bird scenes on the left, right, and underside surrounded by light scrollwork and line borders. The gun features double triggers,
standard markings on the water table, and tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend with Deeley latch
and engraved fittings as well as a pistol grip stock with factory hard rubber grip cap, blank silver inscription shield, and factory dog’s head buttplate. Barrel and stock measurement (R/L): bores nine inches from the breech
.735/.736 inches; choke constriction .028/.038 inches; minimum wall .029/.029 thickness inches; 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 5/8 inch drop at heel; 14 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 13 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with much of the loss on the triggerguard, 75% original case colors with the balance a fine silver patina, some speckles of brown on the action, light handling
evidence, and mostly crisp checkering on the lightly re-varnished stock and forend which has been slightly reshaped at the tip. Mechanically excellent.

Parker Brothers VH Grade Double
Barrel Shotgun - Serial no. 214400, 12 gauge,
28 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut
stock. Manufactured in 1925 with blued steel barrels featuring a single bead sight
on the matted concave solid rib which is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. VULCAN. STEEL”,
chambers measured 2 5/8 inch with single extractor, and choke constrictions of .025/.031 inches. The barrels
are mated to a casehardened boxlock action which displays the standard Grade V zig-zag border engraving and
features double triggers and an automatic tang mounted safety. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-
point checkered splinter forend and a pistol grip stock with Parker grip cap, blank silver inscription shield, and Parker
dog’s head buttplate. The above configuration is confirmed on page 534 of “Parker Gun Identification & Serialization”
by Price and Fjestad. Stock measurements: 1 11/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/4 inch drop at heel;
14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 8 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue and 80% bright case colored finishes with light handling evidence,
some thinning at the lower tang, a few scratches, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.

Exceptional Ithaca Auto & Burglar
Model A Double Barrel Smoothbore Pistol, Class
III/NFA AOW C&R - Serial no. 384514, 20 cal., 10 inch round bbl., blue/
casehardened finish, walnut grips. Produced between 1925 and 1934, the
Auto & Burglar Gun was marketed as a defensive weapon first and foremost, something
to keep strapped to a nightstand or steering column in case you found yourself in over
your head. Fixed single bead sight, solid rib between the “SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL”
and “MADE IN U.S.A.” marked barrels, and both sides of the frame decorated with a pointer in a
field over the “AUTO & BURGLAR GUN/ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA, N.Y.” markings. Matching numbers
are present on the barrel and frame, with a sharply angled and checkered pistol grip.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing a few small areas of
brown patina, bright edge wear, and minor handling marks. 85% of the original bright case colors
are present on the frame, with the remainder smoothly fading to silver or showing light spotting.
The wood is also very fine, with minor dents and scuffs overall and a notch cut into the back of
the pistol grip. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is registered as a National Firearms Act
(NFA), AOW (Any Other Weapon). Although NOT a fully automatic weapon it is still controlled as a
NFA weapon that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE)
under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479. It is also classified as a “Curios or
Relic” as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are also subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C.
Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
