with Extra Magazines - Serial no. 9361, 9 mm
cal., 9 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, metal stock.
Manufactured with a combination of a Pearl
Manufacturing tube receiver and assorted vintage

American M3, the MP40 was optimized for speed
and ease of production, making heavy use of
stamped metal in the construction. Blade front
and two-leaf rear sights, with the Pearl markings
on the sides of the receiver “MP40/660/40” on the
trigger housing. The receiver has been numbered
to match. The lower receiver is paneled in brown
ribbed Bakelite, with an underfolding steel
buttstock and a brown leather sling. Included with
the lot are five extra magazines, two magazine
loading tools, a modern production three-
cell white canvas magazine pouch (right side
configuration), and a commercial plastic case.

of the Pearl-applied factory quality blue finish,
showing areas of brown and gray patina,
scattered pitting, areas of oxidization and
mild handling marks. The furniture is in equal
condition, with mild handling marks. Mechanically
excellent. Some of the extra magazines are rough
or polished bright, pouch is good. NOTE: This
weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully
