original DWM Model
1906 commercial Luger has
a rare Navy style “long frame” with a
stock lug. It has the correct early style 4 3/4 inch
fast taper style barrel, grip safety, scarce “GESICHERT” marked lower safety area and “GELADEN”
extractor. Numbered in the commercial style with full serial number stamped on the underside
of the barrel and front of the frame and the last two digits of the serial number stamped on
the various small parts. The grips are unnumbered. No proofs are visible anywhere on the
pistol. It is complete with one original magazine that has a nickel plated body and an original
unmarked wooden base. Includes a second pattern Swiss military Bern leather holster.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% original blue finish with smooth gray and brown patina
on the balance. 60% straw colors visible on the small parts. Grips are also very fine with a few
small chipped diamond panels. Mechanically excellent. Included holster is fine.

Very Fine and Scarce DWM Model 1902 “Fat Barrel” American Eagle Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol
in 9 mm Luger - Serial no. 22879, 9 mm Luger cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
c. 1902-1904 in Germany by Deutsche Waffen- und
Munitionsfabriken (DWM) as the first pistols available in
the now ever popular 9 mm Luger (9 mm Parabellum)
cartridge, largely for export to foreign commercial
markets like the U.S., with an estimated total production of 500 to 600 pistols
manufactured in the 22100-23500 serial number range as listed on page 70 of
“Lugers At Random” (1990 Revision) by Charles Kenyon Jr. Features fixed blade front
and notch rear sights, an “American eagle” coat of arms marked on top of the chamber,
“DWM” monogram on the front toggle link, the distinct 4 inch long “fat” barrel, a recessed
breech block, dished toggle knobs with a toggle lock on the right side of the frame, correctly polished
lower safety lever position, “GERMANY” export mark on the front of the short pattern frame without a stock
lug, grip safety, and a flat recoil spring on the interior. Matching visible “22879” serial numbers on the front
of the frame and underside of the barrel, along with matching partial serial numbers visible on the takedown
lever, trigger, slide plate, grip safety. both toggle links, and barrel extension. Fitted with a pair of un-numbered
checkered walnut grips marked “*” on the interiors and a replacement nickel plated magazine with unmarked
walnut base.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish and 70% straw colors on small parts with some
light edge wear, some light cycling wear, dried grease, some minor patches
of visible spotting with some fain pitting on the muzzle and a
few areas of the frame, some light handling marks, and a crisp
“American eagle” coat of arms on the chamber. The grips are also
very fine with some minor handling marks and compression wear
in the otherwise crisp checkering. The magazine latch does not fully seat
with the magazine inserted, otherwise mechanically excellent. Overall an attractive specimen of the scarce
DWM Model 1902 “Fat Barrel” American Eagle Luger pistol chambered in 9 mm Luger!

cal., 8 inch round bbl., blue/straw finish, walnut
grips. Manufactured c. 1918. Features a fixed blade front sight and
adjustable tangent rear sight (graduated from 100 to 800 meters),
“1918” date on top of the chamber, “DWM” monogram on the front
toggle link, “crown/Gothic letter” proofs on the left of the extension along
with “imperial eagle” firing proofs on the barrel, extension, and breech
block. Matching visible serial numbers on the frame, barrel, and extension
along with matching “75” partials on the takedown lever, trigger, side plate,
safety bar, toggle links, extractor, and breech block hold open lever, with
the non-matching replacement

“73”. Fitted with a pair
of checkered walnut
grips with matching
“75” partial on the interiors
and a replacement nickel finished
magazine with a “crown/Gothic letter” proofed walnut base numbered
to another pistol.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish and 60% plus straw colors with
some minor edge wear, light cycling wear, a minor safety drag line, some minor areas of brown
patina/freckling visible, and some minor handling marks. The grips are excellent with minor
handling marks in the otherwise defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent World War II Mauser “41/byf” P.08 Luger
Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster and Extra Magazine - Serial no. 3316p,
9 mm Luger cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, synthetic grips. Fixed sights, with
“41” date code on the chamber, “byf” on the front toggle link, “P.08” on the left side
of the frame, and “GESICHERT” and “GELADEN” on the upper safety position and
extractor, respectively. Matching military pattern serial numbers are present on the barrel,
receiver, frame, takedown lever, sideplate, sear, safety bar and lever, trigger, magazine catch, toggle pin,
breechblock and extractor, with a set of unnumbered modern checkered black plastic grips. Included with
the pistol is a reproduction black leather holster, takedown tool and extra modern magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, 97% plus original high polish blue finish, showing minor edge wear and
handling marks. Grips are slightly oversized replacements
but otherwise fine, with minor dings. Mechanically
excellent. The holster is good with shallow cracking
along the surface.

Model 06/24 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. 28794, 7.65 mm Luger Auto cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood grips.
Manufactured in the early 1900s. Fixed blade front and notch rear sights, “cross/M”
proofed extension, blank chamber, “cross” proofs on the extension, barrel, breech block,
and frame. “GELADEN” marked extractor and lower safety position correctly polished
bright, with “P/64” on the triggerguard, denoting release from government stores in 1964. With matching
serial numbers on the frame and barrel, with matching partial serial numbers on the receiver, trigger,
sideplate, toggle links, breech block, grip safety, and grip panels.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, with 97% plus arsenal blue
finish, showing minor edge wear and spotting. 80%
of the arsenal straw color is present on the small
parts, with some edge wear. Grips are excellent,
with minor dings and staining.
Mechanically excellent.
