Factory Engraved Auguste Lebeau Boxlock Double Rifle - Serial
no. 41896, 10.75 mm x 52 cal., 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
Built with blued steel barrels featuring a beaded blade front sight and dual folding leaf rear sights
on the matted flat solid rib, “AUG. LEBEAU” and “FABt A LIEGE” signed on the right and left tubes respectively, correct
Liege proof marks on and ahead of the flats dating to before 1959, chambers with a single extractor, and rib extension third fastener. The barrels are
fitted to the casehardened boxlock action which displays attractive scroll engraving surrounding “AUG. LEBEAU FABt/LIEGE” signatures on either side before continuing
onto the triggerguard, both tangs, and the toplever. The rifle features bushed firing pins, double triggers (front is single set), and a tang
mounted automatic safety with gold inlaid “S” indicator. The rifle is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered forend with
engraved fitting and a highly figured pistol grip stock with a horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece, rear sling swivel, blank inscription oval, and a
Jostam recoil pad. Length of pull 15 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 11 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish on the barrels, triggerguard bow, and toplever with areas of slight plum hue, 90% original case colors
with some edge wear turn grey, a few dings/scratches near the breech, and overall light handling evidence. The wood is very good with some dings and
scratches, replacement recoil pad, and worn but well-defined checkering. The set trigger needs adjustment; otherwise, mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved J. P. Sauer & Sohn Sidelock Drilling with Scope - Serial
no. 189847, 16/8x57 gauge, 26 1/16 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured prior to World War II. Beaded blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, and German claw
mounts holding a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x scope on the matted solid rib, factory markings, front sling swivel, bands
of engraving at either shotgun breech, pre-World War II German proof marks, chambers measured 2 1/2 inches with extractor, and
choke constrictions of .016/.034 inches. The casehardened sideclipped sidelock action displays attractive scroll engraving with maker
signatures on either side and features a rifle cocking lever on the left side,, cocking indicators, double triggers, and tang mounted flip-up peep sight and safety. The gun is fitted with a
nicely figured and multi-point checkered forend as well as a pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, casehardened steel grip cap, engraved casehardened cartridge trap with integrated rear sling
swivel, and horn buttplate. Length of pull 14 1/8 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 4 oz. (with scope).
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and vivid casehardened finishes with minor handling evidence, a few small blemishes in the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend.
Mechanically excellent. Scope optics clear.

German Heeren Action Falling Block Stutzen
Rifle with Scope - Serial no. 5370, 8x60 mm cal., 23 5/8 inch part octagon bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
walnut stock. Built with a blued steel part octagon barrel featuring a ramped beaded blade front sight , a fixed
notch rear sight, and German claw mount bases holding a Ziel-Dialyt 2 3/4x scope on the matted top rib, front sling swivel, and
1930 dated German proofs on the bottom flat near the breech. The barrel is fitted to the casehardened Heeren falling block action
which was developed by Arturo Count Heeren and Nagel & Menz and patented in 1881. The action displays attractive scroll engraving and a matted
receiver bridge and has a safety lever on the right. The rifle is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered full length forend with horn tip and sling
swivel as well as a pistol grip stock with rear sling swivel and rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 13 11/16 inches. Weight 6 lbs. 11 oz.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 98% original blue finish, strong traces of original case colors with the balance a handsome silver, and some dried grease. There is a chip from the forend tip and the
recoil pad is deteriorating; otherwise, the wood is also very fine with a few marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope optics slightly hazy.

- Serial no. 1907, 8x57 cal., 25 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardened finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured prior to World War II. Blued steel barrels featuring a ramped blade front sight with a
flip-up moon bead, two leaf (one standing, one folding) rear sight, and German claw mounts holding a Kollmorgan
Bear Cub 2 3/4x scope on the matted solid rib which is signed “NAGEL U. MENZ HOFBUCHSENMACHER STRASSBURG U. BADEN”,
pre-World War II German proofs, front sling swivel, and chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are fitted to the casehardened scalloped boxlock action with Greener crossbolt
which displays carved fences and scroll engraving with “NAGEL U. MENZ HOFBUCHSENMACHER” on the left and “BADEN-BADEN. STRASSBURG” on the right and features bushed
firing pins, dual single set triggers, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted manual safety with gold inlaid “S”. The rifle is fitted with a multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved
fittings and a beautifully figured pistol grip stock with teardrop drop points, engraved grip cap, cheekpiece, rear sling swivel, monogrammed inscription oval, and steel heel and toe plates around the
checkered butt. Length of pull inches. Weight 7 lbs. 15 oz. (with scope).
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with some patches of loss, minor spotting, 25% original case colors with the balance grey, slight discoloration, a few minor marks in the wood, and mostly crisp checkering on
the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Scope optics clear.
