CONDITION: Fine, attractive bright patina, areas of its olive drab green
paint visible as noted above, scattered light to moderate pitting on the iron
components, and crisp markings. Mechanically excellent. Carriage and caisson
are both also fine with some light paint chips, and sturdy overall. This is a solid
representative example of a Spanish-American War era Colt U.S. Model 1895
Gatling gun and has all of the desirable early features that indicate it may have
possibly seen action at San Juan Hill. This would make an excellent addition to
any U.S. Military collection!
Estimate: 140,000 - 225,000
