This exceptional rifle has been field over-sprayed with
a two tone camouflage medium green/FDE paint and
is accompanied by a heavy storage case, the noted two
piece scope mount, and a modern made metal display
stand for the silencer. The storage/transit shipping
case still retains its outside shipping labels indicating
it was shipped to the MARSOC Special Ops Unit, Camp
Pendelton, CA.
CONDITION: Very fine with 90% plus of the original USMC
over-spray painted camouflage paint over the original
factory parkerized type finish. It shows minor light wear
on the edges and high spots overall from actual field use
and firing with actual finish loss (camouflage paint) on
the barrel and front of the receiver. The unit shows actual
use but no excessive firing or abuse. The safety cannot
be activated with the bolt in full battery, otherwise
mechanically excellent. The Nightforce scope is also
very fine, retains 95% plus of its original factory finish
with minor light edge and high spot wear from actual
use, and the optics are clear and sharp. This incredibly
rare documented “1 of 2” U.S.M.C./Iraqi War issued/used
identified E.D.M. Arms Model 96 Windrunner .50 BMG
sniper rifle is the ultimate rarity for the advanced U.S.
military firearms collector!
