DLO Manufactured Browning 1919A4
General Purpose Machine Gun, Class III/NFA
Fully Transferable Machine Gun with Field
Mount, Accessories, and Transport Case -
Serial no. 8670318, 30 cal., 24 inch round bbl.,
matte gray parkerized finish, metal grips. Built
from a combination of new-made and American
and Israeli military surplus components by
Douglas Laurence Oefinger of Stamford,
Connecticut, this is a fully functional Browning
Model 1919A4 Machine Gun outfitted as an
infantry weapon and marked in the style of a
WWII-production gun from the Saginaw Steering
Gear Division of General Motors. Blade front
and folding ladder rear sights, long ventilated
heat shield around the barrel and Saginaw/DLO
nomenclature markings on the right side plate.
Fitted with a checkered pistol grip. Included with
the lot is a folding tripod, pintle, T&E mechanism,
canvas feed belts, disintegrating links, an extra
barrel, and a Pelican iM3300 transport case.
CONDITION: Very fine as assembled/finished
by DLO, with 95% of the arsenal quality
parkerization, showing some shallow pitting
on the surplus components and mild handling
marks overall. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This
weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully
transferable Class 3, which is registered with
the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18
U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
