Excellent U.S. Springfield Model 1922M1 Bolt Action
Training Rifle - Serial no. 8192, 22 LR cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. 20,010 Model 1922
M1 training rifles were reportedly manufactured c. 1924-1933. Many of these Model 1922 M1 rifles were updated
to the subsequent M2 configuration and had the addition of an extra “1” marking added to their receivers, with this excellent example being a scarce exception. The
top of the receiver ring has the first type markings (covered by the scope block) consisting of “U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL OF 1922/MI. CAL. .22” above the serial
number. Lyman globe front sight and Lyman adjustable peep micrometer rear sight attached to the right side of the receiver, “S A/(flaming bomb)/7-26” marked barrel, and a polished
bolt correctly with the electro-stenciled matching serial number on the body. Fitted with a pistol grip walnut stock with a solid heavy checkered steel buttplate, along with a blued unmarked magazine
with an added hand etched “D” in a triangle on the side. Includes an informational display card and generic nylon soft case.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 90% plus original blue finish with some finish wear concentrated around the forward portion of the barrel and muzzle as well as the edges of the buttplate. Stock is also excellent with rich
oil finish, a few light scratches, and defined edges. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 .22 Caliber Hoffer-Thompson
Bolt Action Gallery Practice Rifle with Cartridge Adapters - Serial no. 562255, 22 cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1913 as one of roughly 15,525 Model 1903 Gallery Practice bolt action rifles manufactured by the U.S. Springfield Armory
c. 1906-1921. These gallery practice rifles were intended for target practice on indoor ranges and externally configured the same as the
standard M1903 service rifles, with the exception of a .22 caliber barrel and the use of Hoffer-Thompson .22 Short chamber/cartridge adaptors shaped after the profile
of a .30-06 Springfield cartridge in order to be fed through the standard box magazine and stripper clips. Many were destroyed after the end of World War I making surviving
examples comparatively scarce today. Features a fixed blade front sight and folding latter rear sight (without volley notch), “S A/flaming bomb/11-13” marked barrel, “22” marked on
the receiver bridge, “I 5” straight-handle bolt, a replacement “N.R.A.” marked trigger housing (from a N.R.A. Sales M1903 rifle), and “H” marked bayonet lug. Fitted with a “high-hump’ profile
walnut handguard and a ‘S’ profile grasping groove walnut stock without recoil bolts, stamped with a boxed “J.F.C.” (J. F. Coyle) inspector stamp on the left of the wrist, and fitted with a checkered
trapdoor steel buttplate. Includes five Hoffer-Thompson .22 Short chamber/cartridge adaptors, a “K” marked Swedish pattern stripper clip, and informational
display card, and a generic nylon soft case.
CONDITION: Very good, retaining 30% plus original blue finish with scattered light edge wear, thinning on the balance with scattered visible grey and brown
patinas, scattered minor patches of visible spotting/freckling, and some light handling marks. The stock is also very good as lightly sanded and re-oiled with
numerous scattered minor handling marks and a clear inspector stamp. Mechanically excellent. Hoffer-Thompson .22 Short chamber/cartridge adapters are
fine with some minor pitting.

II U.S. Springfield Armory M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial
no. 3415281, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized finish,
walnut stock. Manufactured in January 1945. Features a fixed winged blade front sight and
type 3 “lock-bar” adjustable peep rear sight assembly with staked pinion, unmarked Springfield Armory pattern
wide-base gas cylinder with chamfered lock and “P/o” marked cross-slot screw, stamped lower band with staked solid retaining pin, “1 S-A-1-45” barrel with bright
chamber ring, “D28287-19SA/A-8” bolt, unmodified “D35382 9 SA” flat-side operating rod, “12” follower, and “D28290-14-SA” trigger housing with “C 46008-7 SA” hammer, “SA-11”safety, and
unmarked stamped trigger guard. Fitted with a set of oiled walnut handguards and stock bearing a boxed “S.A./G.A.W.” (U.S. Springfield Armory, Col. George A. Woody) inspection cartouche and “ordnance
wheel” stamp on the left of the wrist, circled serif “P” firing proof on the grip, and a small “ordnance wheel” stamp under the grip. Includes a “S.M.Co./1944” marked OD green M1 flat-buckle web sling.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% plus original parkerized finish with some limited edge wear, minor cycling wear, dried grease, some limited brown patina/spotting visible on the buttplate, and minor handling marks. The stock
is exceptionally fine with some light compression marks and a crisp cartouche. Mechanically excellent.

Highly Desirable U.S. “Un-Quality” M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine - Serial no.
4446669, 30 M1 Carbine cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock.
Receiver manufactured in late 1943, initially machined by Union Switch & Signal Inc. before being transferred
to Quality Hardware & Manufacturing Co. for completion as a part of the company’s third production block (serial numbers
4,432,100 to 4,532,099) produced from October 1943 to March 1944. Approximately 29,000 of these transferred receivers were completed by Quality
Hardware and marked “UN-QUALITY” on the receiver heels. Features an “EU” marked winged blade front sight, “S” marked ‘L’ flip peep rear sight, “Q” type II
barrel band, an uncommon but correct “W” marked Winchester supplied barrel, “UN-Q” type III operating rod, parkerized “EM-Q” flat-top bolt, and a “Q-TX”
fabricated trigger housing with “LT-Q” type III magazine release, unmarked push-button safety, “GE-Q” sear, and “LT-Q” type III hammer. Fitted with two-rivet walnut handguard marked “Q-RMC” on
the underside, a “high-wood” walnut stock marked “Q-RMC” in the sling channel, faint “ordnance wheel” on the right of the butt, along with two rack numbers and a “RA-P” (U.S. Raritan Arsenal)
rebuild stamp on the underside of the grip, and a blued “KSG” magazine. Includes a metal oiler and OD green web sling.
CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished and subsequently restored to World War II configuration, retaining 85% plus arsenal
parkerized finish with light cycling wear, some dried grease, scattered minor patches of spotting/oxidation, some brown patina, some
minor edge wear, and minor handling marks. The stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled with numerous scattered minor handling
marks. Mechanically excellent. This is a rare opportunity to add the most elusive of all M1 Carbine manufacturers to your collection!
