Ramo Model 1919A4 Browning Machine Gun,
Class III/NFA Fully Transferable - Serial no. 600264,
30 cal., 24 inch round bbl., matte gray phosphate
finish, plastic grips. One of the descendants of the
famous Browning 1917 machine gun, the Model
1919 discards the heavy water jacket in favor of an
air cooling arrangement, increasing the mobility of
the weapon, and variants of the Model 1919 would
be American military mainstays in multiple roles for
decades. Folding blade front and ladder rear sights,
with the Ramo address, S/N and model markings on
the right side plate, ventilated barrel heat shield, a
pintle mount, and a pair of “spade” grips and checkered
“butterfly” thumb trigger on the rear. Parts are from
multiple sources. Included with the item are a black
painted field tripod (sans T&E mechanism)
and two canvas transport cases.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus Ramo-applied
matte gray phosphate finish, with a small amount
of covered pitting on the military surplus rear sight,
and light handling marks overall. Grips are excellent,
with minor scuffing. Mechanically excellent. NOTE:
This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully
transferable Class 3, which is registered with the
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives,
(BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C.
Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
