Factory Engraved Krieghoff Classic Dangerous Game Double Rifle in .500/416 Nitro Express with Case - Serial no. 030812,
500/416 Nitro cal., 23 5/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/nitride finish, walnut stock. Built with blued steel barrels featuring a ramped beaded blade front
sight, a fixed rear sight on the rear quarter rib which shows provisions to mount a red dot reflex sight, front sling stud on the under rib, single band of
engraving at the breech, 2003 dated German proofs, and chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are fitted to a nitride finished boxlock action which
displays floral scroll engraving on all sides with “KRIEGHOFF/CLASSIC” marked on the underside. The rifle features dual triggers with articulated front and
Krieghoff’s manual cocking piece/safety on the tang. The rifle is fitted with an attractive nicely contrasting and multi-point checkered semi-Schnabel tip
forend and a pistol grip stock with shadowline cheekpiece, rear sling stud, and black rubber recoil pad. Includes a factory takedown case, a set of snap
caps, loading dies, a brass trimmer, and 50 pieces of once fired brass. Length of pull 14 5/8 inches. Weight 10 lbs. 12 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 99% original blue and nitride finishes with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with some areas of thinning in the finish, some light scratches, and overall sharp checkering on the
stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.

Diatal-ZA 8x56mm scope on the raised quarter rib,
standard markings, front sling stud, 2002 dated German proof marks, and a single band of engraving
at the breech. The barrel is fitted to a nitride finished triggerplate action which features attractive hand cut Arabesque scroll
engraving, Krieghoff’s “Combi-Cocking Devce” tang mounted manual safety/cocking piece, and “KRIEGHOFF/HUBERTUS” model
marking on the underside. The rifle is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered Schnabel forend as well as a pistol grip
stock with an engraved bear inlaid in the grip, rear sling stud, and a black rubber recoil pad. Includes two extra matching numbered
23 5/8 inch barrels, one octagon in 6.5x57R and the other is round in 30-06, both with their own forend and scope mount. Also
included is a wood and leather takedown case that houses the entire set. Length of pull 13 7/8 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 12 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and nitride finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the
stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Scope optics sharp, some spotting on the tube. The case is very fine and the extra barrels
are excellent.
