The hardwood case has a velvet felt lined fitted interior containing an
array of proper accessories including a double sided eagle powder flask,
W&C Eley cap tin, “L” shaped combination tool, blued two cavity .36 caliber
bullet mold marked “36 P.” on the side and “COLT’S/PATENT” on the sprue
cutter, one 5-count pack of combustible . 36 caliber Colt Pocket cartridges,
and some lead bullets.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains
97% plus original high polish blue finish
on the barrel with slightly modified front sight, 80% plus
on the cylinder, 95% plus captivating original case colors on the loading
lever, frame, and hammer, 60% original silver plated finish concentrated
mostly on the trigger guard and front grip strap with attractive golden
aged patina on the exposed brass, and absolutely sharp cylinder scene
and markings overall. Grip is excellent with nearly all of the original glossy
piano varnish finish, light handling marks, tight fitment, and distinct edges.
Mechanically excellent. Case and accessories are all very fine, with
a crack on the lid, and minimal age and storage related wear. This high
condition Colt Pocket Navy revolver will greatly enhance any
Colt percussion collection!
