CONDITION: Very good, the iron components showing a mix of brown and grey patina with a
few scattered patches of light pitting and oxidation, while the brass shows an attractively aged
patina with some scattered minor dings and light tool marks. The wood is also very good with a minor
edge chip on the upper left of the wrist near the tang and some scattered minor dings. Mechanically
excellent. An attractive example of the highly desirable Henry rifle that is documented to a buffalo
hunter and rancher of the American West Fredrick “Doc” Zahl!
