The factory gold and silver plated finish is
another rare special order feature. The factory
engraving, two-tone finish, and relief carved
stocks make for an extremely rare combination
of features for a piece of Colt artistry that is
high prized by collectors. It also features a blade
front sight, the one-line Colt Hartford barrel
address, “32 W.C.F.” in a banner on the left at
the breech, the two-line patent date markings
in a panel followed by the encircled Rampant
Colt trademark on the left side of the frame,
the triangular “VP” proof and “6” on the left side
of the trigger guard, assembly number “355”
on the loading gate, and matching full serial
numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and butt.
The factory engraving, silver and gold plated
finishes, steer carved on the right ivory grip,
combined with it’s exceptional condition places
this jaw dropping Single Action Army among
the most elite of all collectible Colts.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. The barrel
and frame retain 98% attractive age darkened
original silver plating. 40% original silver plating
