CONDITION: Very fine. The revolver retains crisp engraving, 75% plus of
the original high polish blue and vivid color casehardened, 98% plus
original silver plating on the trigger guard and back strap with attractively
aged patina, a crisp cylinder scene, complete safety pins, exceptionally
crisp markings, and mostly only age and storage related wear including
some flaking and edge wear. The highly figured walnut grip remains
excellent and has only minimal light marks and scratches. Mechanically
excellent. The case is fine with minor age and storage wear, a crack in the
bottom of the case, slight separation of the dividers, minor oxidation, and
some contact wear and stains. The flask is excellent, and the remaining
accessories are very fine. This is an outstanding example of a presentation
cased factory engraved Colt London Model 1851 Navy revolver. London
Model 1851 Navy revolvers in high condition with exceptional engraving
rarely turn up and are highly sought after. Don’t miss your opportunity!
