Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from
the breech both proofed and measured at .614 inches; choke constriction
.038/.036 inches; minimum wall thickness .029/.027 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at
comb; 1 15/16 inch drop at heel; 14 13/16 inch length of pull; cast-off;
weight 6 lbs. 5 oz.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original lustrous London black
and vivid case colors with the barrels showing an attractive slight plum hue.
There is some very minor flaking on the nopales cactus on the left lockplate;
otherwise, the precious metal inlays show total retention. The wood is
also excellent with minimal handling evidence and sharp fine checkering.
Mechanically excellent. The case and accessories are also excellent.

28 inch vent rib bbl., black/casehardened/precious metal finish, walnut stock.

a few tiny marks on the wood, and sharp fine checkering on the stock and
forend. Mechanically excellent. The case is also excellent. This is a great
opportunity to own a sensational pair engraved by one of the 20th centuries
finest engraving team, the Brown Brothers!
