ASP Semi-Automatic Pistol with Extra
Magazines and Accessories - Serial no. 83139,
9 mm cal., 3 1/2 inch round bbl., matte black
finish, plastic grips. Originally manufactured
c.1954-1970, and then “re-manufactured” by
ASP into a highly concealable defensive weapon,
being shortened in multiple dimensions, lightened,
dehorned/deburred, and fitted with a single piece
“Guttersnipe” sight. Standard markings are retained on the slide and
frame, with the slide serrations and hammer spur removed, triggerguard
thinned out and hooked at the front, and a set of lexan grips with clear round counting windows
installed. The barrel is numbered “83193”; the last two digits were likely transposed in a manufacturing error. Included
with the pistol is a black leather soft case with ASP “death watch” logo, a brown leather magazine pouch,
and two extra magazines.
CONDITION: Excellent as upgraded, with 99% of the matte black finish, showing mild handling marks on the metal and
grips. Mechanically excellent. Soft case is very fine, magazine pouch has an absent snap on the belt loop.

Desirable Smith & Wesson Model 39-2 Devel Conversion
Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster - Serial no. A274522.005,
9 mm Parabellum cal., 3 1/2 inch round bbl., satin nickel finish,
synthetic grips. Manufactured in 1975 and subsequently upgraded by Devel. The pistol features a fixed
front sight with red painted ramp, a fully adjustable rear sight, shortened slide and frame, lightening
flutes on the slide, relief cut trigger guard allowing for has access to the trigger, and a bobbed hammer
for increased concealability. The left side of the frame is stamped “.005” after the S&W serial number. The
pistol is also fitted with a set of smooth “DEVEL” marked grips with clear windows for viewing the round
count. Includes two extra magazines and a DeSantis leather holster.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 97% satin nickel finish with some areas of thinning and some light
holster wear mainly on the underside of the frame. The grips are also very fine with small cracks at the
screw in the window and tight fitment. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with light wear.

Automatic Pistol with Extra Grips - Serial
no. A300571, 9 mm cal., 3 1/2 inch round
bbl., black finish, horn grips. Designed
in the 1960s by the interesting character
Paris Theodore, and produced through the 1970s by
Armament Systems and Procedures; the ASP package took a Model
39-2 and performed a radical “re-manufacturing” for the purposes of
concealment. Reduced in multiple dimensions, rounded edges, and a
reshaped trigger guard. The original sights are replaced with a one-piece
Guttersnipe sight. The grips are smooth horn with transparent windows, and
the magazine is shortened and has openings in the sides for round counting
with “ASP” marked base. Included with the pistol is a pair of extra grips, plastic
with frosted sides and clear viewing windows.
CONDITION: Excellent as upgraded, with 98% plus black finish, showing minor
handling marks overall and some light wear on the chamber hood. Grips are also
excellent, with some minor scratches. Mechanically excellent.

finish, hardwood grips.
Manufactured c. 1971-
1982 and subsequently
upgraded by Devel into a
compact defensive pistol,
reducing the overall size
and rounding off areas
like the backstrap or
hammer that could hang
up on clothing. Blade
front and adjustable rear
sights, bobbed hammer,
trimmed-down backstrap
beavertail, and checkered
grips with “DEVEL” inlaid
panels. Includes a mixed
numbered factory box
and papers.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus brushed nickel
finish, showing edge wear, spotting and light handling marks. The hammer shows mild oxidization on the sides. Grips are
very fine, with some dings and varnish loss. Slide catch needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically excellent. Box is good,
with stains and wear.
