CONDITION: Fine as a genuine U.S. issued Colt Walker revolver, with smooth gray patina, a legible cylinder
scene, mild areas of pitting, a professionally repaired loading lever and replaced retaining spring, and
mostly defined markings and edges in the crisp, full dimension metal overall. Grip is also fine, with some
light scratches and dents, and a clearly legible cartouche on the right (very hard to find on a Walker!).
Mechanically functions. No advanced Colt collection is truly complete without a Walker revolver, the
official firearm of the state of Texas. This is a rare opportunity to get your hands on both an immensely
historical and original, top level example of an A Company U.S. Colt Walker Model 1847 revolver!
Provenance: The J.C. Harvey Collection; Private Collection.
Estimate: 225,000 - 375,000
