Unique and Exceptional U.S. Springfield Model 1903 U.S.M.C. National Match Bolt Action Rifle with “Philly” Star Marked Barrel - Serial no. 1485448,
30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, walnut stock. This Springfield Model 1903A1 U.S.M.C. National Match rifle was built utilizing a receiver
manufactured in 1934 with standard receiver markings, and fitted with a parkerized barrel marked “SA/(Ordnance shell and flame)/7 42” above a rare five pointed “philly” star. According
to the online source, usmcweaponry.com,“The meaning of this 5-point star, commonly referred to as the‘Philly Star’is unknown at this time.”The website also has pictures of two other known examples
of “Philly stary marked 1903 rifles. No star-gauge mark on the muzzle crown. Includes an appraisal sheet that states, “This rifle was built at Marine Corp. Base Quantico Virginia circa 1948... Very rare and the only
one I have seen.” This rifle also includes an old empty mailing envelope addressed “M. C. S. RIFLE & PISTOL/P.O. BOX 212/QUANTICO, VIRGINIA” found in the spare hidden cavity of the buttstock underneath the buttplate (where
it remains) upon describing by the writer. The barrel is fitted with the standard blade front sight and the folding ladder rear sight. It has a matching electro-stencil serial numbered “N.S.” marked blue finished bolt. Fitted with a standard two-bolt walnut pistol grip “C” stock. “4391” marked on top of the handguard and on the bottom flat of the pistol grip, with a single circled “P” proof on the front of the pistol grip. It has the standard all milled components with a serrated trigger and heavily checkered National Match type steel buttplate. Receiver mounted with a Lyman 48 peep sight.
CONDITION: Exceptionally fine as upgraded to current configuration by U.S.M.C. armorer, retains 98% arsenal applied parkerized finish with some light handling marks. 90% arsenal applied blue finish on the bolt with some light cycling wear. Stock is very fine with defined edges, some light handling marks and dents, a patch of moderate pressure dents around the rear band spring, and crisp markings. Mechanically excellent.

Excellent World War II U.S. Remington Model 1903A4 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Weaver M73B1 Scope - Serial no. 3419576, 30-06 Springfield cal., 24 inch round bbl., parkerized/blue finish, walnut stock. The original iron sights are properly absent, with a Remington “7-43” dated barrel, “R” marked bolt with properly turned and contoured handle, and the properly offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. The included Weaver M73B1 scope is electro-stencil serial numbered “11719” on the right of the tube, and mounted on a parkerized Redfield scope base. Smooth pistol grip “C” stock with various inspection stamps ahead of the floor plate, “RA” and crossed cannons with a boxed “FJA” inspection cartouche on the left of the wrist, a circled “P” proof on the lower front of the pistol grip, and checkered blue finished steel buttplate. Includes cleaning kit in butt compartment.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% original parkerized finish on the barrel, receiver and scope base, and 95% original blue finish on the remaining components including the scope, with some light handling marks. Stock is very fine as lightly sanded and re-oiled with some light scratches and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Included scope is excellent with crisp optics.

Desirable World War II U.S. Rock-Ola M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine - Serial no. 1685817, 30 Carbine
cal., 18 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. “ROCK-OLA” marked barrel dated “5-43”. Unmarked blade front sight
and Type I “BR” and “S” marked two-position flip rear sight, Type I “M-R” barrel band, “ROCK-OLA” blued finish flat top bolt, “ROCK-OLA” heel plate, Type
I “ROCK OLA” slide, milled “ROCK-OLA” trigger guard, “KR” hammer, “A-R” magazine catch, and “UU” magazine. “RMC” Type I two rivet handguard with the
deep sighting groove, high wood stock with boxed “RMC” inspection cartouche ahead of crossed Ordnance cannons marked on the right and “RMC” in the
sling recess. Includes an olive drab green canvas sling and oiler.
CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains 85% plus original parkerized finish with some light thinning and scattered light nicks on the barrel, and sharp markings in the metal. 80% original blue finish
remains on the bolt. 95% original blue finish remains on the magazine. Stock is very fine as lightly arsenal sanded and re-oiled with scattered light scratches and dents, and a moderate chipped
section to the left of the heel plate. Mechanically excellent.
