World War II Berlin-Lubecker “qve 45” Code K43 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle with ZF4 Sniper Scope and Mount - Serial no. 6090a, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 22 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. Manufactured by Berlin-Lubecker (qve) on a rough forged receiver marked “K. 43 qve 45”, with a single bolt guide, bolt carrier latch on the right side, hollow cocking knob, right side mounting rail, unthreaded muzzle, “gcb” code magazine, and cupped trapdoor buttplate. Hooded front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 100-1200. Matching serial number marked on the receiver, bolt carrier, and bottom of the buttstock (faint). The left of the scope body is marked “Gw ZF4/27171/ddx.” ahead of a triangle. “8721” and “eagle/359” marked scope base. Includes brown leather sling. CONDITION: Fine, retains 40% original blue finish with smooth gray and brown patina on the balance, and applied gray/green paint of unknown origin on the bolt carrier and part of the scope tube. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled with a crack on the underside ahead of the magazine well, cracks and a few pinned repairs around the rear of the receiver, and scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very good, optics are clear. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000

World War II Gustloff Werke “bcd” Code G43 Semi-Automatic Rifle - Serial no. 1170C, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with a rough cast bolt carrier fitted with a solid cocking knob and a catch on the right side. Matching numbers are present on the bolt carrier, bolt, and the underside of the smooth pistol grip stock, the latter bearing faint WaA proofs on the left side and fitted with a brown leather sling and a cupped steel buttplate. One magazine, “awj” marked, is included. CONDITION: Fine, with 40% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, scratches and dings around the front sight base, and mild spotting. The stock is very good, with a mended split in the underside of the forearm, and minor chipping, scuffs and dents overall. The sling shows cracking and wear. Mechanically excellent. Early World War II 1941 Dated German “bcd” Code Gustloff-Werke 98k Bolt Action Rifle - Serial no. 5842, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, laminate stock. This is a solid example of an early World War II K98 rifle manufactured
by the Gustloff-Werke factory in Weimar. The top of the receiver is marked “bcd/41”. This is the wartime code for the Gustloff-Werke at Weimar, and “41” is the year of manufacture. The left side receiver wall is marked “Mod 98”. The left rear portion of the barrel and receiver have the eagle/swastika firing proof, and the rear portion of the barrel is marked with “660 /2A 3”. The rifle has the early war pattern, all milled components, including the “H” pattern, milled upper barrel band. It has the standard inverted “v” front sight and the tangent rear sight graduated from 1-20, (100-2000 meters). It is fitted with the correct early laminated wartime stock with the serial number on the underside, and the right side of the buttstock stamped with an “eagle/H” over two “eagle/WaA26” Waffenampt proofs. It has all matching numbers, and is complete with a cleaning rod. CONDITION: Very fine with 90% of the original blue finish with edge and high spot wear along with thinning on the floor plate and exposed section of the barrel. The stock and hand guard are both in very fine condition with nice clear proofs, minor handling marks and light pressure dents on the sides. There is a small crack either side of the barrel band. The stock has a nicely repaired duffle bag cut under the hand guard. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

Manufactured by Berlin-Lubecker (qve) on a rough forged receiver marked “K. 43 qve 45”, with a single bolt guide, bolt carrier latch on the right side, hollow cocking knob, right side mounting rail, unthreaded muzzle, “aye” code magazine, and cupped trapdoor buttplate. Hooded front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 100-1200. Matching serial number marked on the receiver, bolt carrier, and bottom of the buttstock. Includes brown leather sling. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 70% plus original blue finish with areas of smooth gray and brown patina and some light edge wear. Magazine retains 70% original black painted finish with scattered chipping and scratches. Stock is fine as lightly sanded and re-oiled with some light scratches and handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,800 - 2,750

German SS Marked Mauser Deutsches Sportmodell 34 Single Shot Bolt Action Training Rifle - Serial no. 28693, 22 LR cal., 26 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood stock. This Mauser sporting rifle is equipped with a ramped blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 200 meters. The left side of the barrel at the breech end is marked “KAL. 22 LANG FUR BUCHSEN” followed by the serial number and “459” ahead of crown “B”, “U” and “G” proof marks. The left of the receiver is marked with a crown “B” and “U” proof followed by the matching serial number and “MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N.” The top of the receiver is marked with the Mauser banner and “DEUTCHES SPORTMODELL” on the right rear. Mounted with a smooth one piece walnut pistol grip stock with a circled “RFSS” Reichsfuhrung SS stamp on the right of the buttstock, which is the SS Main Office. Another example of this stamp is pictured on page 335 of the book “Training Rifles of Third Reich Germany” by Robert Simpson. Includes a brown leather sling. CONDITION: Good with traces of original blue finish, scattered areas of light to moderate pitting, and a few patches of mild pitting at the breech end of the barrel. Stock is also good with scattered scratches and dents, and a crisp stamp. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 1,600 - 2,500
