Double Action Perfected Model
Revolver - Serial no. 53167, 38 S&W cal.,
4 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut stock,
hard rubber grips. Manufactured from 1909-1920,
with a total of 59,400 produced. Standard markings
and features. Matching serial numbers on the barrel,
barrel latch, cylinder, right grip panel, and butt.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% original
blue finish, minor handling evidence, slight cylinder drag line, slight brown hue to the grips, and sharp grip texture. Mechanically excellent.

4th Model Revolver with 2
Inch Bicycle Gun Barrel and Pearl
Grips - Serial no. 240178, 32 S&W cal.,
2 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, pearl
grips. Manufactured from 1883-1909. The
revolver features factory broad floral scroll
engraving on a punch dot background and desirable
special order 2 inch barrel. A “Crown/M” is engraved amongst the scrollwork on the side plate. The barrel is correctly marked with the caliber designation on the left side and two-line address/patent dates marking on the right side. Fitted with S&W medallion pearl grips. Matching serial numbers are on the butt, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with the balance thinning to a brown and smooth gray patina on the back strap. 95% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. Mechanically excellent. A very rare Bicycle Model worthy of a factory letter and further research!

Excellent Smith & Wesson .38 Single Action 1st Model “Baby Russian” Revolver with
Very Scarce Factory Picture Box - Serial no. 11397, 38 S&W cal., 3 1/4 inch solid rib bbl., nickel
finish, hard rubber grips. Also known as the No. 2 First Model and manufactured circa 1876-1877, the Baby Russian receives its moniker from the break latch, long ejector housing and back strap knuckle. Matching serial numbers appear on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, barrel, and barrel latch. Includes a correct period S&W “Baby Russian” picture box and rare wrench. This very scarce picture box bears the instruction sheet on the inside of the lid, and the “picture label” on top, which features a Baby Russian in the center and the text “SMITH & WESSON/No.38/Automatic Ejector,/SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”
CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 97% bright original nickel plating. The grips are also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The very scarce picture box is very good with a semi collapsed bottom. Most of the picture label remains and the text and graphics are clear. An outstanding Baby Russian that will be hard to improve upon.

No. 1 Second Issue
Revolver with Relief
Carved Dragoon Grip - Serial no. 42816,
22 RF cal., 3 3/16 inch solid rib bbl., blue/silver finish, antique
ivory grips. Manufactured in 1860-1868. The barrel rib has the
one-line address, and the cylinder has the patent marking. Both
grip panels are numbered to the gun with the serial number in pencil and the left
panel features a fine relief carving of a dragoon. Matching assembly mark on the grip
frame, cylinder and barrel.
CONDITION: Very good. The barrel retains 20% original blue finish and the frame retains 97% aged darkened original silver plating. The grip is excellent with a few minor handling marks, crisp carving and attractive color and grain. Cylinder does not rotate properly when action is cycled.

1 2nd Issue Revolver - Serial no. 59953, 22 RF cal., 3 3/16 inch
solid rib bbl., blue/silver finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured
from 1860-1868. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun.
There are matching assembly marks on the grip frame, barrel, and cylinder. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 60% original blue finish with smooth brown patina on the balance. The frame retains 97% original silver plating. The grips are also very fine with minor handling marks and most of the original varnish remaining. Mechanically excellent. An attractive S&W Model No. 1 2nd Issue Revolver. Provenance: The Wayne Connor Collection.
