Very Fine Colt Etched Panel New Line .30 Spur
Trigger Revolver with Rare Grips - Serial no. 10385, 30
RF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish,
hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1875, the standard
two-line Colt address on top of the barrel and the
desirable etched panel on the left marked “COLT NEW 30”.
The serial number is marked on the butt, “385” on the bottom of the
barrel, in pencil inside both grips, and rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with a pair of rare factory checkered hard rubber grips featuring Rampant Colts and flourishes of floral scroll. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish and 80% of the vibrant case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and the etched panel remaining crisp. The grips are very fine with minimal handling evidence and crisp designs/checkering.

Colt New Line .32 Etched Panel Spur Trigger Revolver with Attractive Grips - Serial no. 11247, 32 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, antique ivory
grips. Manufactured in 1876, the standard Colt two-line address on top of the barrel, desirable “COLT
NEW 32” etched panel on the left, and the patent date on the bottom. The left side of the frame is marked “32CAL C”. There are very small British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and cylinder. The full serial number is on the left side of the grip frame and bottom of the barrel. It is fitted with a pair of spectacular smooth antique ivory grips. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun and an informational plaque. CONDITION: Very fine, retains 50% of the original blue finish and 85% plus of the vibrant original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The grips are excellent with a few very small hairline age cracks near the screw holes and otherwise only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Very Fine Colt New House .38 Etched Panel Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 13285, 38 CF cal., 2 1/4 inch round bbl., nickel finish, hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1881, the standard Colt two-line address on top of the barrel, patent date on the bottom, and the desirable “COLT NEW 38” etched panel on the left. The matching serial number is on the left of the grip frame and bottom of the barrel, and “285” is marked faintly in pencil inside the right grip. It is fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with “COLT” in ovals at the tops. Includes a plain modern box labeled to match the gun
and an informational plaque.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original
nickel finish with a few patches of light flaking on the cylinder and a few edges. The grips are very fine with a few scattered very light blemishes in the otherwise
crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
