London Retailer Cased Colt Second Model Single Shot Derringer - Serial no. 6461, 41 RF cal., 2 1/2 inch irregular bbl., nickel/silver finish, walnut grips. Manufactured from 1870-1890 with factory engraved flourishes of floral scroll on both sides of the frame. There are British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and matching serial numbers on the bottom of the barrel and butt. It
is fitted with checkered grips that are
both hand numbered to the gun on the
inside. Includes an oak case with John
Blissett interior retailer label, a cleaning
rod, key, oiler, and two .41 RF cartridge.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 85% plus of the
original nickel finish on the barrel and
traces of the original silver finish on the frame with
the balance a smooth grey patina with a speckling of
light surface oxidation. The grips are also fine with some mild wear and a few
scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild handling/storage wear.

London Retailer Cased Colt Etched Panel
New Line .32 Spur Trigger Revolver -
Serial no. 4583, 32 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch round
bbl., blue/casehardened finish, antique ivory
grips. Manufactured in 1882. The top of the
barrel has the two-line address, the left side
has the etched panel marked “COLT NEW
32”, and the bottom has London proofs
which are repeated on the cylinder. It has
standard features as well as a pair of smooth
grips. Includes leatherette wrapped case
with Hawksley & Sons interior label.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 80% of the original
blue finish on the barrel, 20% in the cylinder flutes, and 70% of the vibrant original case colors with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The grips are also fine with some light handling marks scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some light handling/storage wear.

Panel Spur Trigger Pocket Revolver with
Pearl Grips - Serial no. 512, 22 RF cal., 2
1/4 inch slab sided bbl., nickel finish, pearl
grips. Manufactured in 1873, the first year
of production, with the standard two-line
address on top of the barrel and serial
number on the butt. It was engraved by a
period retailer after being received from
Colt. It otherwise has standard features as well as a pair of smooth pearl grips. Includes a leatherette wrapped hard case and cleaning rod.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 80% of the retailer applied nickel finish with the balance having thinned to mostly an attractively aged brass and crisp engraving. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is also very fine with some scattered light handling/storage wear.

Exceptional London Agency “Pipe” Cased Colt Etched Panel New Line .22 Spur Trigger Revolver - Serial no. 48524, 22 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch slab sided bbl., nickel finish, hardwood grips. Manufactured in 1877 with the standard two-line address on top of the barrel, “COLT NEW 22” on the left in an etched panel, patent date on the bottom along with matching serial number “8524”, and full serial number on the butt. There are London proofs on the barrel and cylinder. It has standard features including smooth hardwood grips with the serial number hand marked inside the left panel. Includes a rare leatherette wrapped “pipe” style case with Colt London Agency gold embossed label on the lining of the lid and a cleaning rod. CONDITION: Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original nickel finish with a small patch of thinning on the rear left of the frame showing an attractively aged brass and a crisp etched panel. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some mild handling/ storage wear. Estimate: 2,250 - 3,500

finish, walnut grips.
Manufacturing
began in 1870. This
pair are both of the
Second Type, featuring
the sloped hammers. Both have the standard italic Colt marking on top of the barrel and small British proofs on the bottom, with the serial numbers marked on the left side of the grip frames. Both have the caliber markings on the left of the frames and “C” followed by a Rampant Colt. The grips on both are hand numbered on the inside of both panels to match their respective guns. Includes a leather wrapped hard case fitted for both pistols, a cleaning rod, and four .41 RF cartridges.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the period retailer applied nickel finish with the balance having thinned to either a smooth grey or attractively aged brass. The grips are very fine with a few scattered light handling marks and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild handling/storage wear.

CONDITION: Very fine, retains 95% plus of the period retailer applied nickel finish with some light edge wear revealing an attractively aged brass.
