Scarce Kolibri Semi-Automatic Pistol with Leather Purse and Accessories -
Serial no. 13, 2.7 mm cal., 1 1/2 inch fluted bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Designed
by Friedrich Pfannl of Austria, the Kolibri and its cartridge, the 2.7mm Kolibri, are credited as the smallest centerfire pistol and centerfire cartridge to see production, with the pistol easily
fitting in the palm and measuring less than 3 inches long. Manufactured with a notched groove sight on top of the slide, “FEU” and “SUR” safety markings, “FP” imprints on both grips, and “KOLIBRI” on the right
grip panel. Included with the pistol is a brown leather “change purse” style case and a small pewter box
containing eight rounds of ammunition.
CONDITION: Fine, with 50% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, mild
spotting, bright edge wear and light handling marks. The grips are also fine, with a few dings and crisp checkering. The change purse shows a few small holes in the muzzle and general wear appropriate to age
(including the unmistakable profile of the pistol itself rubbed into the material), the box is fair, and some of the rounds may be inert with struck primers and reseated bullets. Mechanically fine.

Attractive Engraved Pfannl Kolibri Semi-
Automatic Pistol with Metal Grips and Case - Serial no. 23, 2.7
mm cal., 1 1/4 inch slab-sided bbl., bright finish, silver grips. Designed by Friedrich Pfannl of Austria, the Kolibri and its cartridge, the 2.7mm Kolibri, are credited as the smallest centerfire pistol and centerfire cartridge to see
production, with the pistol easily fitting in the palm and measuring less than
3 inches long. Manufactured with a notched groove sight on top of the slide, about 80% of the
overall surface is engraved with a fine scroll engraving, and both grip panels are silver plated with raised “FP” imprints on both sides and “KOLIBRI” on the right panel. The pistol comes with a French
fitted case with a silver foil exterior and green felt interior, which also contains a box of four inert Kolibri rounds.
CONDITION: Fine, with some light spotting and handling marks on the bright surface. The grip panels
show a well aged patina, brighter on the checkering, with some play in the screws. The case is very good, with wear
and tear of the exterior, separation at the edges and some fading and staining of the interior. Mechanically fine. Estimate: 5,000 - 7,500

Rare Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Fabrique Nationale Browning Model 1900 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Pearl Grips and Presentation Style Case - Serial no. 69083,
7.65 mm auto cal., 4 inch round bbl., blue/gold finish, pearl grips. Manufactured between 1899-1911. This example features fine scroll pattern and border engraving with gold inlaid bordering. Blade front and notch rear sights with
pop-up cocking indicator, with stacked matching numbers on the right side of the rear sight, slide and frame, Liege proofs in the same arrangement on the left, “FABRIQUE- NATIONALE-HERSTAL-LIEGE,(BROWNING’S-PATENT)” marked on the left of the slide,
and an oval pistol and FN logo over “BREVETE-S.G.D.G.” on the left of the frame. “FEU” and “SUR” safety markings, and the grips are lustrous pearl. Includes a wooden presentation style display case.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus original blue finish with a few small patches of light pitting, a ding on the right rear edge of the frame, strong gold inlay, and crisp engraving. Grips are very fine with some light handling marks. Mechanically functions stiff, has a hang up when charging the slide.
